I coached a team that played in the Jarosi every year from '95 through '99. Great competition.gerb131;1114346 wrote:Back when the Jarosi was The Jarosi it was more like 95-98. -
killer_ewokWell, the USA U-23 men's team failed to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics as they tied El Salvador 3-3. Fucking equalizer for El Salvador came late in extra time. That sucks.

They probably think it is. -
OSHTerrible loss.
A lot of the blame goes back on Caleb Porter. Bill Hamid is noticeably injured...sub earlier, not when he concedes two goals. Why in the world do we only see one sub in the 90'? That makes no sense. And then a sub for Freddy Adu who could've been the US Man of the Match -- I understand it if he was trying to make sure that Adu didn't get a second yellow and end up missing another game, but why not sub in a MF or defender?! There needed to be another sub as well. Get some fresh legs in late in the game to settle people down AND get some energy back. To me, Villafana would've been a person to sub off.
Disappointing showing for the GKs. Unfortunately. Hamid is probably the heir apparent to Timmy Howard. Just an overall disappointment. -
patriots34Although the keeper should be blamed for allowing the goal with like 10 seconds to go in the match. The defense should be take most of the blame. The defenders made the Canadian U23 team look world class. And allowing 2 goals in the span of about three minutes in the first half is not acceptable against El Salvador. The future looks grim for the United States Defenders.

OSHFor the third week in a row, the MLS has had a higher average attendance than France's Ligue 1!
That's good news. Average attendance was 20,300+. Not bad at all. Keep on moving up MLS!
Next step...rebrand. Get a new logo/name. The logo is so WordArt. Need to change that crappy looking soccer ball and foot. -

Yeah, Im hoping the return leg is better. If Barca scores first, it will be. If Milan score first, they will defend till the death.DeyDurkie5;1131101 wrote:about to turn that bad boy on. The champions league game yesterday between barca/ac was shit. -

chicago510Man City in serious trouble down 3-1 at home to Sunderland. Down 3 points to ManU in the tables.
-
gorocks99Are you kidding me, Man City just scored two past the 80th minute to tie it at 3.
-
chicago510City comes all the way back to draw, but they needed 3 pts. ManU can almost lock this thing up with another win.
Edit---Just looked at the fixtures and ManU plays the 17th 18th and 19th place teams in their final 3, while City still has Arsenal. This is over. -

Normally, the EURO stuff would be a whole new game for like 60 bucks. The mere fact they're making it an expansion pack is absolutely amazing. They're bringing in all the 53 countries with updated rosters and new stadiums.ohiobucks1;1132104 wrote:why -

This..also, getting the real life tourney feel is so sweet on that game. We used to spend hours on the world cup south africa game trying to win the cup online. Just makes for a better gaming experience.NilesPacMan;1132639 wrote:Normally, the EURO stuff would be a whole new game for like 60 bucks.
