Well it was the Kings Cup, which is 2 legs. Pep never fills his squad. Usually like 3 regulars and a bunch of young guys. They routinely win 1-0, 2-1, 2-0 in the Kings Cup early stages.DeyDurkie5;968044 wrote:let the wrestlers have their 20th ranked sport nationally.
I put my streak on the line for barcelona to win by 3+ goals yesterday, wtf a 1-0 win??
Also, hoping to see some progres as well with the USMNT. It would be awesome for the sport here if they could somehow crack the top 10 nationally -
OSHThe Bob Bradley era has started in Egypt...with a 2-0 loss to Brazil.
The Columbus Crew have resigned Eddie Gaven to a multi-year deal.
The NCAA DI tournament pairings have been announced. -
SportsAndLadyI'm pumped to see Rutgers/Colgate this Thursday

Laley23Excited for the Indiana vs UNC match-up (16 overall IU - 1 overall UNC). Too bad it will be in round 2 if both teams advance after the 1st round bye. UNC will probably win though, unfortunately. I was hoping IU would somehow grab a top 10 seed based on their schedule strength, but oh well.
The march for the 8th STAR has begun. -
OSHIf anyone is interested, a good DIII match will take place on Friday at Ohio Wesleyan University at 7:30pm.
Ohio Wesleyan will be playing Ohio Northern. I anticipate that the winner of this game could end up being in the DIII championship game. Messiah got knocked out rather early... -

Will be rooting for OWU, a bunch of my friends are alumni and came close several times. Also rooting for Akron, don't think they have the juice this year but love what Porter is doing with that program.OSH;973146 wrote:If anyone is interested, a good DIII match will take place on Friday at Ohio Wesleyan University at 7:30pm.

chicago510Edson Buddle just scored for the USA against Slovenia in the 9th minute. I shit you not, I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself.

lol. I just started a thread. Figured the game deserved its own thread, especially since I can finally watch the whole thing.chicago510;973885 wrote:Edson Buddle just scored for the USA against Slovenia in the 9th minute. I shit you not, I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself. -

Definitely have the ability to make a run. This years team has had some good moments, then some pretty bad moments.chicago510;973153 wrote:Will be rooting for OWU, a bunch of my friends are alumni and came close several times. gorocks99Haha, of course Spain comes back and scores two goals in the last 10 minutes to get out with a draw

OSHSweet deal for the LA Galaxy...10-year and $55 million deal to broadcast games on Time Warner Cable.
Oh, and at least the Crew can win the MLS reserve league! Congrats Crew! -
OSHI wish I could've gone to the game. Sounded like a thriller.
ONU was up 2-0 at half. OWU came back and won 3-2. Man...good game to watch probably. -

SportsAndLadyRutgers onto the Sweet Sixteen, too.
Upset Boston College today. -
OSHNot surprised by the LA Galaxy win. Watched the whole game.
The Dynamo were really missing Brad Davis. They really had very limited attack. LA couldn't put anything on frame. To me, Landon getting MVP was not deserved at all. Robbie Keane was the Man of the Match. He was sooooooo dangerous every time he touched the ball. He had the assist on Landycakes' goal. Should've been his. But he wasn't the "hero" that Landycakes was... -
AutomatikGunners win their 5th straight and RVP with 2 more. 13 and counting.

Keane was good and he had a goal taken away. I'll tell you what Beckham played outstanding, probably the best I've seen him move about in a long time.OSH;982030 wrote:Not surprised by the LA Galaxy win. Watched the whole game.

I can't say that Keane's goal was NOT offside. I thought it was on replay. I watched it again today. I still think he was offside. It was a close call, but I believe the AR got it right.gerb131;982818 wrote:Keane was good and he had a goal taken away. The 2012 MLS Expansion Draft is on Wednesday at 2pm ET! Almost time to see what the Montreal Impact squad may look like! Here's the player list.
From Columbus:
Among those protected: Eddie Gaven, Dilly Duka, Julius James, Chad Marshall, Robbie Rogers.Unprotected:- Kevin Burns
- Jeff Cunningham
- Emmanuel Ekpo
- Shaun Francis
- Josh Gardner
- Eric Gehrig
- Cole Grossman
- Andy Gruenebaum
- Tommy Heinemann
- Justin Meram
- Andres Mendoza
- Danny O'Rourke
- John Owoeri
- Santiago Prim
- Alex Riggs
- Dejan Rusmir
- Ben Sippola
- Corey Veeder
- Josh Williams
I like the protected ones, there are others, but those are the most important, in my opinion. I would like to keep Justin Meram -- he had been playing well when he received the minutes. We need some major changes. It's almost like we should be going through the expansion draft... -

MulvaMontreal should definitely grab Freddy.
-
OSH
They are stupid! They didn't draft Freddy but drafted Brian Ching?! Ching is 31 years old. He's definitely past his "prime." He stated that he would retire if he was drafted and then join the front-office of Houston. How can they think that Ching has that much upside to waste a pick on?!Mulva;984155 wrote:Montreal should definitely grab Freddy.
I am not too disappointed with losing Josh Gardener in the draft. I am not overly impressed with Montreal's draft.
