The 3rd goal for Barca was a beauty though.. Looked like a sloppy game defensively, but given the skill of both teams offensively, I'm not shocked. -

The offer is believed to be of around $65 million, says Spanish newspaper As.
Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, however, could now be heading to AS Roma even when a move to Atletico Madrid looked set to be completed says Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

UPDATE: Radamel Falcao could be announced as an Atletico Madrid player as soon as today in order for the Spanish club to be able to count on him for the UEFA Europa League.
Atletico Madrid faces Vitoria Guimaraes from Portugal for the third qualifying round of Europa League on Thursday and then again on August 25. The idea is for Falcao to be able to play a part in those matches, says Spanish newspaper Marca.
The deal to bring him from FC Porto is believed to be in the region of $50 million.
The same newspaper claims there is an initial agreement between Atletico Madrid and Espanyol for Argentina striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo in exchange of $25 million.

Dutch team FC Utrecht has dismissed interested in American midfielder Michael Bradley who was linked with a move from Borussia Monchengladbach.
"The report is not true. FC Utrecht is not interested in Bradley, nor talking with him," the Dutch club's press officer Harry van Dam told Yanks Abroad.
Bradley has already played in Holland, where he has been with Heerenveen from 2006 and 2008, but looks like he won't be returning there at the time being. -

It was widely reported that Eddie Johnson was returning to the MLS, but the striker has denied a deal was in place.
"We had reached agreement, subject to formal documents. It's unfortunate the player did not want to conclude a formal agreement, but we wish him well in his future endeavor," said MLS Executive Todd Durbin.
Johnson will remain a free agent for the time being, but the transfer window in most European countries is still open, which means he has time to find a new club. -

UPDATE: Glasgow Rangers went from having one American player in Maurice Edu to having three in the space of one day.
The Scottish giants have confirmed they have signed Carlos Bocanegra from Saint Etienne and they have also secured the services of Alejandro Bedoya from Swedish club Orebro.
Both players have signed three-year contracts and Bocanegra could even make his debut today if the international transfer clearance comes on time before Rangers face Maribor in Slovenia in a UEFA Europa League qualifying game.
Maurice Edu has welcomed to Rangers his fellow American players on Twitter.

Despite the fact that the transfer deadline has expired on August 14, Hargreaves could still be able to join the Whitecaps as he is a free agent.
English club West Bromwich Albion is still interested and could get in the way and beat Vancouver to Hargreaves' signature.

Chelsea first choice goalkeeper Petr Cech suffered an injury in training and will be forced to miss a month as a result according to the club's official website.
It means Cech will almost surely miss the next three matches (West Bromwich Albion, Norwich and Sunderland) and would be a doubt for the big clash between Chelsea and Mannchester United on September 18, making a most likely comeback the following week against Swansea City.
Manager Andre Vilas-Boas is expected to make a decision today on who will be Cech's replacement. His options are Hilario and Ross Turnbull. -

The first mention about it came last week and now it is already a done deal as the Colombian striker joins Atletico Madrid for $57 million and the Spanish club already announced him on its official website.
