gorocks99Anyone see that Orlando City SC's coach has said if they are an MLS side by 2015, Kaka will be there? Crazy.
-
SportsAndLadyI actually get to watch the games today and I get fucking Spain Tahiti lol this is gonna be a blood bath.
Nigeria Uruguay should be good though. -
AutomatikArsenal to sign Higuain today.

Shit yeah. Didn't do a good job replacing Van Persie last year (Giroud wasn't close) so hoping Higuain does the trick. 150,000 pounds per week is a heck of a lot of money though.Automatik;1460623 wrote:Arsenal to sign Higuain today. -

Hope he fails and then comes to CBUS to play with his brother.gorocks99;1460626 wrote:Shit yeah. Didn't do a good job replacing Van Persie last year (Giroud wasn't close) so hoping Higuain does the trick. 150,000 pounds per week is a heck of a lot of money though. -

Ya that is some major cash. I'm not sure he's worth that, but I hope I'm wrong.gorocks99;1460626 wrote:Shit yeah. Didn't do a good job replacing Van Persie last year (Giroud wasn't close) so hoping Higuain does the trick. 150,000 pounds per week is a heck of a lot of money though. -

I was close...gorocks99;1457818 wrote:I'm interested in Spain vs Tahiti the same way I'm interested in a car wreck during a NASCAR race. It could be 15-0. -

SportsAndLadyThe amount of flopping and simulating in this game is disgusting.

Turned it on and immediately saw a flop, lol. Knew what to expect with Italy though. -
Terry_TateRandom question I was just thinking about: would any American players make the top 100 list in the world? I figure Clint Dempsey is the best chance but wasn't sure if he would make it. Was Landon Donovan at his best on the list? Jozy may be able to get there but he's not close yet.
-
Laley23Clint is easily a top 100 player. Jozy would be considered. Howard would be up there depending on how you value keepers.
Jozy scored a shit ton of goals in Europe. I know it wasn't EPL or la Liga or anything. But still.
Clint was a very valuable piece for spurs. He was the EPL top XI the year before for Fulham. Has continued it for USA. A top 25 player last year at his peak for sure and arguably is fringe at the moment. -
MulvaNo Americans made the Guardian's top 100 list at the end of last year.

Laley23I have issues with that list.
But mostly that Clint made the EPL top XI last year...yet wasn't one of the 27 EPL players listed... -
SportsAndLadyBrazil/Uruguay Wednesday
Spain/Italy Thursday
Great Final 4. Both games at 3 eastern. -
ohiobucks1I expect a Brazil Spain Final
-
Laley23I think the consensus coming in was that Spain had lost a bit of their bite, especially offensively (scoring wise). They have so far looked unreal. Brazil was the heavy favorite for the WC in their homeland prior to this, but Spain could come in as such if they knock of the Brazilians in the final of the Confed Cup.
I really am looking forward to that final, but the Semis could be just as good. -
gorocks991-1, 81'. Can Uruguay pull off the upset??
-
ohiobucks1No. Goal Brazil 2-1

ohiobucks1Glad Donovan is back
-
gorocks99Not a bad roster for essentially being b-team guys.
-
OSHCherundolo had knee surgery today, I believe it was. It was the same knee he had surgery on in February. Not a good thing for a 34-year-old USMNT hopeful.
If he still has years of playing in him, I foresee him in playing in MLS. -
Laley23Nice! Will Bruin, love Hoosiers making a name.
I think he could surprise. He is a true #9, and outside of Jozy, we dont have one of those.
Landon back is a very good thing. Hopefully he is back to form in 350 days for the World Cup. -

Will Bruin is a true number 9 in the sense of size only. If he's the type of #9 our national team is producing we are in trouble. He's got no skill on the ball whatsoever.Laley23;1464267 wrote:Nice! Will Bruin, love Hoosiers making a name.
