White, IMO, would be their ace but it doesn't matter because they suck anyway. -

Masterson has been brilliant this year. His #'s compare very well to the other top pitchers in the AL, and this is with LH batters killing him. When he figures out LH hitters, and he will, because he's already made drastic improvements from his first start last year, he'll be an ace.
Alex White has #1 stuff as well, imo.. However, neither of these guys may have the stuff Pomeranz has. He may be a legit ace, not just a #1.
Tomlin is a #2 or 3 caliber guy, and Carrasco has #1 type stuff, but has lacked the consistency so far. He'd be a scary 3-5 guy in the rotation though.
As Laley said though, 5 #2's would probably dominate the Central, and really, put the Tribe in great position period. Look at what they've done already with 2 stiffs (Talbot and Fausto)... The bullpen is amazing as well, and for the most part, pretty young.
I agree with you. That's why I said if one of those guys turns into a true "ace" that rotation is going to be scary good. The guys you listed definitely have the potential imo. Hopefully one turns into a legit ace, but it would be even better if 2 or 3 turn into legit aces lol. -
ohiobucks1The future is bright!
Go Tribe -

lol, no doubt about that. Seriously, the Tribe may actually be onto something. The farm system is rich in pitching and they do have a few nice hitting prospects as well.
If they can keep the core group of offensive players together for this stretch, they will probably be a very formidable ball club in the not too distant future.. -

Their approach to rebuilding the team kind of reminds me of the SF Giants. Kept bringing up young talent in their pitching staff and BP, and it finally has worked out for them. The Giants will be a team to reckon with for sometime now because of it. I just hope the Tribe can replicate what they are doing. -
