But if he plays for the carom, he gives up an opportunity to catch the ball, and with two out its worth trying to catch it even if you give up a triple rather than a double. Your corner OFs have to be there to prevent the round tripper!

Dusty bench EE? Or is he hurt?

He got hit in the forearm/wrist.

Nothing like making him work SMH

He had no shot at that ball, even if he gets there it would hit off his glove cause he can't catch balls against the wall.

    fastball down the middle, jesus

Now Bruce lackadaisical in RF with that looping throw that allowed Greinke to score!
  • wildcats20
    Nyjer should have scored.

Then they try a futile attempt to get Weeks at home and let Morgan get to 2nd! And Cozart's inferior range compared to Janish is showing and cost him catching the Morgan liner.

My choice of over 8.5 runs will pay off!

    Welp, new ball game.
  • mhs95_06
That's a rare way to commit a balk! Must have had a change-up grip and tried to throw to first at the same time as he was adjusting the grip!

    This team makes me :(

    Frustrating that's for sure.

Umps miscalled first strike put Stubbs behind the 8 ball and he ends up striking out, guessing wrong on the 3-2 pitch, but a much better AB than 90% of his Ks this season.
  • wildcats20
Kotsay fumbles the lead away just as quick as he took it.
  • mhs95_06
Votto lucked out being safe - why didn't he slide to the inside of the bag to enhance his chances. Big error in LF to give 4 bases, but no extra outs.
  • mhs95_06
Votto's gamble to get to 3rd with one out paid off as BP gets the RBI!
  • wildcats20
BP does the job. Reds back on top 6-5.

    BRUCEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

No wonder Milw didn't have a lefty in the bullpen when the Reds played them before -- no one capable!

Yeah it was a pretty good AB, but to let that 3rd strike just go right by is really bad.

That Votto try for 3rd was big - made the difference between an error and 4 bases and an error with 3 bases and an out gained by Milw and a big factor in the Reds tying and then taking a 2 run lead.
  • wildcats20
Yeah, when I heard Thom say he was trying for 3rd I thought for sure he was out.
  • mhs95_06
Bray made good pitches, but finally had to get a ball over the plate on 3-2 and Fielder was ready for it. Dusty didn't double switch to try to get more than one out from Ondrusek because he didn't want to weaken his defense.
