Reds @ Rays....Game 2

  • SportsAndLady
Both pitchers a third of the way to no hitters
  • Terry_Tate
Lol at Chris Welsh saying most of the AL doesn't really run. 6 of the top 9 teams in stolen bases are in the AL.
  • Terry_Tate
9 pitches, 3 outs. Think we may see a no hitter, or dare I say a perfect game tonight.
  • Midstate01
    That might be the ballgame

Dude doesnt watch anything but Reds games. He called Nick Markakis, Nick Mar-kack-is. Somebody corrected that before game 2

Haha, yeah, I didn't know the numbers but when he was saying it and that most of the AL are about home runs and getting thrown out takes you off the bases for a HR or for a hit it just didn't sound right so I looked it up. Thought that was pretty funny.

lol, that is an error everytime. It hit him in the fucking glove. Sorry guys in the booth.

I was laughing at that too. Loved how Kelch thought it should be a hit then was like "do you agree?" As if to try to get someone on his side. The SS didn't even move from his spot.

    Nice at-bat by Stubbs!!
  • Terry_Tate
I think id have rather had anyone up there but Stubbs.

hah yeah. Dont get me wrong, it was smoked. But thats an error 99/100 times. He even got a big, favorable bounce.

Lol I find it hilarious that Ramon has 8 hr and is hitting .305 yet only has 16 rbis
  • jordo212000
Yup it was error. Where is the manager from "Major League" when you need him?

Bottom of the order, aside from the catchers, has been atrocious at getting on base all season
  • Terry_Tate
Oh shit, forgot Saturday is the Dusty bobblehead. Gotta get down there early!

It's so much more enjoyable watching Cueto now that he can pitch to contact.

Good news, Yankees smoked Greinke tonight.
  • Terry_Tate
Moral of that inning, don't hit the ball at Scott Rolen.
  • dave
Guess these guys didn't hear me with the Brewers score.
  • Midstate01
Did he just say tweeter account ?

The yankees will undoubtedly score some more. But that offense, versus Garcia, will score some runs and make it close if they dont.
  • dave
At least Price is working the last 2 innings.

He hasn't given up more than 4 earned runs all year.
  • dave
Almost 50 pitches the last 2 innings, if they can make him work a little next inning they will get to the pen for the last 2. Hopefully Cueto keeps it at 1-0.

True. But I dont like that match-up. I bet he does tonight:D

Rolen had a good battle with Price with 2 out and RISP. Got it to 3-2 so the runners could be moving on the pitch. Price throws back to back change-ups with the full count and finally gets a ground out off the 2nd one on the 9th pitch. Price now has 90 pitches thru 6. The 7th inning batters need to use lots of pitches.
