When doing trivia stuff on guys with insane numbers one player I always go with Jimmie Foxx......Rogers Hornsby.....his numbers are insane for some years.

Ted Williams? Not a huge Hr and doubles guy....probably not
  • karen lotz

Yeah, for some reason Foxx is always overlooked. And there is a reason Rogers Hornsby is ranked as high as he is by most people all time. He has some sick numbers/seasons

2 huge number guys (1 a definate cheater)...both were HUGE doubles hitters and both had HUGE HR seasons during HGH time.......Luis Gonzalez was always over 35 doubles....hit 57 HR and was known for some triples in a big Arizona park......he had to be extremely close if he didn't make it.

Another possible is Carlos Delgado who had 57 one year maybe and I know he was in the mid to upper 40's on doubles for some seasons

Pujols had to have been very close.....but probably didn't make it. You usually need some triples.

That season is so overshadowed its ridiculous. Granted, there is a good reason for it to be lol.

Gonzalez is the last name on the list. I think he was clean though.

He doesnt "look" like a cheater. But those power spikes just SCREAM steroids.
  • Ironman92
    Brady Anderson?

Juan Gonzalez? He had to be close.

    Larry Walker?

Old school Al Simmons? He had some sneaky insane Chuck Klein like years.
  • Ironman92
    lol...guess I should stop

Not a chance in hell LuGo was clean.

lol, ok good. I mean, he didnt blow up like some, so that evidence isnt as clear. But damn, those numbers jumps are like the poster boy for using.
  • Ironman92
He never blew up...but when he was on the Astros he was funny thin.....can't play a million years......and have your biggest HR season 26 more than your second best Hr season

    Exactly. Just ask Brady Anderson.
  • Ironman92
His is even more worser than Anderson......Anderson didn't play nearly as long.
