    Yep, hes the one!

20 seasons with the Chi Sox, 2218 games at SS. Thats without the 1944 season.

Here is the link (does not include Jeter):

    And that's only since 1950.

Ok, so now we need another. Jeter wasnt counted.

The most surprising one to me that was NOT on the list is Ozzie Smith.

    Answer:
    Jeter
    Concepcion
    Larkin
    Trammell
    Ripken
(They said those five at the park last night)

Vizquel (says the link I provided)
the AL has 3 players who started at least 2000 of their games with one team. In the AL Ripken, Vizquel and Trammel hold that honor and in the NL Concepcion and Larkin can make claim to it as well.

    Concepcion.

    Cal
    Concepcion
    Larkin
    Trammell
    Appling.

Link fail. No Jeter, and Vizquel is a no.

Vizquel is not one of them. Played 11 seasons in CLE.

    Park trivia fail.

Omar didn't play 2000 games for the same team.

No doy. Just said that's what the LINK says.

Ozzie played his first 4 years with the Dads.

1990 games with the Cards though.

If I heard Marty correctly on the radio, the question started with since 1970.

Here is one, if Tribe fans were watching the other night, they will know however.

Only 2 players have ever had 100+ extra base hits in a season twice. Name them.

Follow up, 13 players have done it once (including the 2 that did it twice), name them?

This is a VERY easy question to look up, so dont do it.
  • karen lotz
I'd say one of them was probably an Indian so I'll say Albert Belle or Jim Thome. Bonds, Sosa, Ruth have to be at least part of the 13 if not the 2 repeats.

    McGwire?
  • karen lotz
    Who were the Indians playing?
  • Laley23
    1. Ruth - 119
    T-3. Bonds - 107
    T-6. Sosa - 103
    T-6. Belle - 103

All part of the 13. But not part of the twice. McGwire, Thome no.
