Highest was 91 in '96.
Helton is the only active player on the list. -
wildcats20I looked it up, pretty great list.
-
wildcats20I mean not overwhelingly, holy shit that's great, but a great list nonetheless.

Minus the last guy, pretty much everyone is well known. Maybe not one of the guys who did it twice.
I knew him, but I follow baseball stats way to close lol. Didnt know he had done this feat, but knew the name. -
wildcats20I thought I would some more of the really big names though.
-
karen lotzGotta be some old time Yankees on there.
Mantle, Gehrig, DiMaggio? -

I think a few things come into play. Walks, obviously. Then most of the guys have to have enough (not a lot) but enough speed to leg out 8-15 triples. Not many of the really big power hitters can even hit that many HR/2Bs. But I was amazed that some names were left off as well. -
karen lotzStan the Man?

Mantle, Dimaggio no. Gehrig is one of the 3 who did it twice. -

Nice. -
karen lotzTy Cobb? He probably didn't hit enough HRs, but he did have some pretty high triples years.

karen lotzHack Wilson had to have been close at least. 191 RBI aren't getting driven in with 150 singles.

He killed it with double and triples, but not 50 of them. Which is what he would need, since he only got 10+ HRs twice. Though, in 1909 he led the league with 9! -

97, with his 191 year. -

Boom. Got the last of the "twice guys" Now just missing the rest of the single season guys.
He is from Indy as well! -
karen lotzI gave up and looked them up. As I assume etb did as well.

I also agree, he had to look him up. I literally only knew of him cause I took a history of sport class at IU, and they mentioned the baseball players from Indiana.
A little surprised you didnt get the 1st 100 or the last 103. The last 100 is always someone people forget about, myself included. Completely overshadowed that year. And the 102 is a really famous player, but I dont think I would ever peg him for 100+ EXBH. -
ernest_t_bassNo, my grandpa is a huge Phillies fan and he has pics of Klein in his home.

Ironman92Anyone said Hank Greenberg? Jimmie Foxx had some silly big seasons....I bet he's on there.

Both of them are on there. I always forget Jimmie Foxx.
