111th US Open
-
karen lotzStarts Thursday at Congressional.
-
karen lotzA little video to get the week started right...
-
wildcats20That video has literally left me speechless.
-
karen lotzYeah I don't really know what to think. Bubba tweeted that the song is available on iTunes and all the money is going to charity.
-
karen lotzAs far as the Open goes, apparently they haven't gotten much rain recently so the rough is long, but not as thick as they would like to have it. Greens will be fast as hell.
-
wildcats20I'm kinda bummed Tiger isn't playing...
And I think the winner is going to be a household name, not some unknown like the Masters.
I hate saying it, but I think Fat Phil is going to finally get his Open. -
Terry_TateJust saw Darren Rovell tweeted about that video. I watched the whole thing and I'm still not sure exactly what I saw.
-
Ironman92Geoff Ogilvy
Everyone else is playing for 2nd -
royal_kThat video is hilarious. Definitely not something you'd expect from PGA Pros.
As far as the tournament....I like one of the video Golf Boys, Rickie Fowler. -

karen lotzI think I just saw that a HS junior qualified? Crazy.
-
karen lotzPhil is all over the place.
-
royal_kMcIlroy making it look easy. -2 through 6 today...-8 for the tournament. If he keeps this up, there will a lot of golfers missing the cut.
Lefty is -2 today through 6....+1 for the tournament. -

Don't the same amount make the cut regardless? -

I think it is anyone within 10 shots of the lead and/or top 60+ ties. -
bases_loadedI thought there was at least a certain number of players...Rory is on fire right now...Eagle at 8 to move to 10 under for the tournament
-

This
McIlroy now making the turn at -10.....crazy good. (-4 on the front)
Michelson even after 9 (-3 on the front) -
krambmanWhat Rory is doing right now is incredible. It's almost like Tiger at Pebble in 200 (I can't believe that was 11 years ago!)
If Rory McIlroy plays the back nine in 6-under he will break the US Open single round scoring record of 62 set by Roy McAvoy. -
bases_loadedIf you go to usopen.com you can watch it live and they are basically following his group around. He looks comfortable. Hitting greens...spinning the clubs after the follow through. Should birdie 14.
-
karen lotzRory now -13, lowest anyone has ever been at a US Open. Looks like the cut line will only be top 60 and ties, as he is 10 shots ahead of 2nd.
-
IliketurtlesRory is playing unreal but will he choke again on the final round just like the Masters? This time he might have a big enough lead it won't matter.
