Will sq_crazies/theboss be back to explain why Miami/Lebron had an epic collapse?

No way Riley was thrilled with how that went down. This was attention whoring at its finest by a mental midget and his two buddies.
Thats not my point. I wasn't happy with it either, but attention whoring isn't guaranteeing that you're going to win a Championship. -

When you say "once the games start, it is going to be easy" or claim you are going to win 8 titles, yes it practically is guaranteeing it. -

But what there actions and talk of more than 7 championships was a guarantee....imo. When you act like those idiots do and talk and make fun of the other team...you better damn well win the series. Jason Terry would have looked like an idiot if Lebron lit him up....but hey, he backed it up. -

Again, I don't see where that says anything about them winning this year? -

I wasnt arguing against them guaranteeing rings. Ive just yet to hear anyone show me one thing where they said they were winning it THIS year. Thats my point. Everyones so happy bc they didnt win it. Its the first year together. I just dont see why you guys expected them to win it this season is all. -
SportsAndLadyThese guys (wade, lebron, bosh) are in their 8th seasons, it's not like one of those "they didn't win in year 1, they'll get better" type of things. That was their best chance to win a title. They didn't have to play the Lakers or the Spurs...they got the Dallas freakin Mavericks. If they couldn't beat that team, I don't see how they're gonna win one, let alone 6, 7, 8. Lebron isn't going to all of a sudden start playing like he normally does in the Finals, he doesn't know how to play when there is REAL pressure on him. Then you add in the fact that the hardcap is gonna be lowered, how are they gonna improve their "other" players? I'd be very worried if I were one of the very few Heat fans, and Lebron as well.

hoops23Exactly^
People making excuses for their failures are HILARIOUS. -
ricolaTHIS year was their best chance: they beat aCeltics team with no Rondo, and helped by Ainge's genius move to get rid of Perkins. They played a very (playoff) inexperienced young Bulls team, that has more upside than the Heat. They got beat by a good (not great) Dallas team, that got past the Lakers and the Thunder (which also has more upside than this year's Heat).
Having said that, the heat have too much talent NOT to win a championship eventually, but with the present salary cap structure, they don't have a lot of flexibility to get better. And as much drama as this year's team was involved with, if they don't win a championship in the next 2 years (tops) there is no way they will keep this team together for the next 6-7 years as it is to "keep trying". Somebody will be gone--most likely Bosh-- but if Lebron doesn't find a way to get better in the championship series, it's possible even he could go. D Wade will not go anywhere. -
BR1986FB^^^ I agree with this. If Lebron doesn't win one next year and he has an opt out clause I could see him doing so and "taking his talents" to Brooklyn.

Because Boston did it in their first year. Duh. -

Yup. And no one really "expected" them to win it "this season" but you know damn well when you saw they were playing the Dallas Mavericks, you expected them to win. -

Laley23This is pretty much unrelated. But I think Durant will end up with more titles than LeBron. Especially if Westbrook can learn to be superstar 1B and not 1A.
