Will sq_crazies/theboss be back to explain why Miami/Lebron had an epic collapse?

Miami has much more than 3 players, you're kidding yourself with that statement. -

I'm sorry but I'm sick and tired of this statement. How much times do these guys need? They have played around 100 games together this past season when you include the playoffs. If they cant figure it out after 100 games they never will -
Hb31187Miami has more than 3 players, but its like 6(Wade, James, Bosh, Miller, Haslem, Chalmers? Anthony?) or so tops. Its some pretty bad depth
and chemistry IS important..but if you have players who have high basketball IQ and are willing to do whatever it takes to win...it works (see boston 1st year) -

Completely disagree -

It seemed to have quite the number of really logical points. Particularly the one where he mentioned that the refs screwed LeBron. That was great. -

Of course it was a total bust. Just like it was for 29 other teams. If you don't win the Championship, the season is a bust IMO. I don't think THEY put as high of expectations as the media and Lebron haters did. IMO, it was everyone else that put those expectations up there. Did they say there goal was to get a ring? Of course they did. But isn't that the goal of every single player in the NBA?BR1986FB;802957 wrote:IMO, after "not 5, not 6, not 7...etc, etc" this season was a TOTAL bust. They built up expectations of themselves SO high THIS year that it was a forgone conclusion that they'd be bringing home a ring. BUST!
Well good for the Celtics. So 1 team did it out of how many? Miami will get a couple pieces together and get it done.Pick6;802989 wrote:why? the Celtics did it in their first year and their stars cant compare to the Heat's big 3....oh wait..the Celtics actually have a TEAM, not 3 players -

You're COMPLETELY correct !!! I had to take out a 2nd mortgage to help pay for their "we haven't played a quarter but we gonna be the champs" celebration LAST July when the Three Stooges all signed their contracts because OUR expectations were higher than theirs.. How foolish of us to think OUR expectations, along with the media's, weren't as high as LeEgomaniacs.
The assholes brought in on themselves. -
JesterGoChief's, I can't say that I agree with your assessment that if you don't win a championship then the season is a bust. I'm sure every player WANTS to win the championship that season, but to have that goal and consider the season a bust if you don't succeed is un-realistic, IMO. There are only a certain number of teams that are looked at as legit title contenders. It's one step at a time. You work your way up from one realistic goal to the next. Teams like the Cavs, Timberwolves, Kings, Wizards, etc shouldn't look at their season with a championship or bust mentality. Go for things like a winning season or winning your division, then maybe to winning a playoff series or two, then on to the goal of winning a championship if you feel you should be considered legit title contenders.

Right, because Wade, Bosh, and James put on that celebration didn't they? That was the ORGANIZATION. But again, the haters want to blame it on the three. You are just a bitter Lebron hater. So because of that, nothing is going to change your mind. It's all the players fault in your opinion. Another Cavs fan that's just pissed off because James left Cleveland. While you're celebrating because Miami didn't win a Championship, yet made it to the Finals, how fun has it been watching Cavs basketball the last month and a half? Oh wait.... -
GoChiefsJester;803615 wrote:It's one step at a time.
WINNER! To think that just because they signed James and Bosh they were guaranteed a ring is straight up retarded. Like I said, it's year one. Give it a chance before you keep celebrating because they lost. I'm willing to bet they will have one within 3 years. -

And yes, I agree with that. The organization has to set goals. I was more so speaking as a fan. I know as I fan, I'm not going to be excited just because my team finished over .500 this year instead of under .500 like last year. -

well shit.. In 4 seasons of high school basketball I probably played about 100 games total. damn the ohsaa for not giving me and my teammates a chance to get used to playing with each other. -

It was the organization that told Lebron to say "not 3, not 4,not 5, not 6, not 7" OK gotcha. Wade and Lebron could have said no were not putting on a celebration before the season starts but they are both attention whores so they could not pass it up.GoChiefs;803621 wrote:Right, because Wade, Bosh, and James put on that celebration didn't they? Um....did you see Pat Riley during the celebration? I would be willing to bet A LOT of money that it wasn't his idea to have it. -

From what I heard he had a look on his face like he could've shot all of them. -

pretty much. I agree that most Cavs fans are very spiteful of the whole situation, but the Lebron nuthuggers and Miami fans(other than jpake) are delusional. No way Riley was thrilled with how that went down. This was attention whoring at its finest by a mental midget and his two buddies. -

And you're flossing with the hair on Lebron's nutsack so what makes you different?
As Skyhook said, nobody was putting a gun to Lebron's head saying "you GOTTA say we're gonna win 3, 4, 5 etc championships." The arrogant dumbass put the bullseye on his OWN back. -
BR1986FBwildcats20;803903 wrote:Yes, yes he did.
Because Riley is a REALISTIC...been there, done that. He KNOWS how difficult it is to win titles and these morons are spouting off "not 5, not 6, etc" writing checks that their abilities probably won't be able to keep. Wade is no "spring chicken" and he hasn't exactly been the picture of health his whole career so some serious stars are going to have to align for Miami to win that many. -
