Y-Town SteelhoundDiebler will be on an NBA team somewhere. If Kyle Korver is in the NBA there's no reason Diebler can't be. One thing with Diebler is he won't have to go through that "adjusting period" that shooters who were primary scorers on their college teams sometimes do (JJ Redick). Diebler's been a spot up 3 point specialist his entire college career and will have an easier transition into a similar role in the NBA. He's tall enough, he shoots well from the 3 and from the line...there's a place for him on some team.

I agree but Kyle Korver did a lot more for his team in college than what Diebler did, Korver was an all around player who could do a little bit of everything. -
Laley23Kyle Korver is an all around player who was an AA in college. He is just flat out better than Deibler. Just because a guy is white and a good shooter doesnt make the comparison a good one.

Pretty much what I was trying to say lol -
jordo212000No way in Hades that Diebler gets drafted.

MulvaGranger has regressed over the past 3 seasons. I don't think that rumored deal for #2 would be a bad move at all for the Pacers.

Yeah I dont want any part of Granger. Never been overly impressed with him -

He regressed this year. Before that, he increased his scoring 6 pts a year and topped it off 2 years ago at 26 a game. He stayed steady last year at 25 a game, but was bad this year. -

I think you guys missed how this connected with my second point though. Korver is not being asked to do what he did in college in the NBA. In the NBA he's a 3 point specialist. Diebler is the same and the difference is he's been in that role for a while now. -

I meant the past 3 seasons as in 2009 (when he peaked), then last season and this one. Didn't Bird call him out last year for not improving any? His scoring went down (albeit by under 2 ppg), his shooting numbers all went down, and everything else stayed basically the same. -

He called him out for not taking over. Clearly Bird sees something that just isnt there, cause Granger wont ever be that player.
I do agree he has regressed and seems really complacent now. Almost as if he is happy enough to have made it. Made the AS team, top 5 in scoring, most improved, etc. He just didnt seem to try this season, and really was kind of complacent last year as well. The scoring was there, but only cause the other options werent there. This season that changed a lot, and other guys stepped up a bit. -

Not a weird breed, just a pure scorer IMO and not as well rounded as most 3s I feel like. -

Ironman92This thread was damn interesting. Lots of right, lots of wrong...some great calls and terrible fails. LeBron wasn't here so that added to it...even BJ got a lot of talk. He was definitely quite athletic. He failed IMO because he didn't care enough. He did not work hard and was happy he finally had a family. Dude's heart wasn't in it.
But he was definitely athletic and Lamarcus Aldridge agrees.

Speaking of Gibby, some of you might recall that I called him out out in the politards forum and said he would go back in hiding after the election. He claimed he wouldn't. It has been 3 months since the election and no sign of gibby. -
like_thatIronman, is there any chance to email a lot of these users to entice them to come back to OC? Lots of good names in this thread (I am not referring to turdo and crynasty).

As for his disease, he has neurofibromatosis. It's a disease that causes tumors to grow throughout the body. He also is partially blind in one eye.
He's a great kid and has a heck of a personality, just like his dad.
