jordo212000I was looking at the big board today and I haven't heard of a lot of the guys who are slated to be in the top 15
Give me Derrick Williams from Arizona though -
wildcats20Odds for the 1st pick...
-
karen lotzI am happy, Mr Fab4.
The anticipation is killing me!! -
wildcats20The Cavs have really set themselves up well for a nice draft. No matter how down the draft is, 2 picks in the top 10 is going to get you 2 solid guys. As long as they play it right, they will get the 2 guys. Then again, they could go after 2 projects and be still another year or more away from anything.

Pick6lets get it CLEVELAND!! as long as we dont draft Ricky Rubio i'll be happy

I was wondering this today...is he available again now since he didn't sign? How does that work for European players that play overseas after they have been drafted?Pick6;771824 wrote:lets get it CLEVELAND!! as long as we dont draft Ricky Rubio i'll be happy -
Hb31187The draft talent for this year is pretttttty bad for teams who need to completely rebuild.
-
Hb31187I think Minnesota has Rubio's rights for whenever he comes to the NBA.

dont know how it works..but I heard the Timberwolves went over to look at him. He is averaging like 4 pts a game, shooting some horrible % and has just low stats all around..in the spanish league lol. -
wildcats20From Wiki, so take it for what it's worth...
The Timberwolves will retain his NBA rights for one year after he stops playing professional basketball of any sort, at which time he may reenter the NBA draft (but does not become a free agent). Under the current NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement, when Rubio arrives in the NBA he will be subject to the rookie wage scale of the year he signs his contract. In the current CBA, there is a clause that states if Rubio were to play overseas for three or more years, he could negotiate past the rookie scale. The current CBA ends before Rubio could negotiate a raise, however, and it is widely thought that the new CBA will be worse for players (including foreign draft picks), not better. He will also be two years further away from restricted free agency by playing two years in Europe.[6] -

Putrid to be honest. -
karen lotzYeah I did see somewhere a couple weeks ago he was really struggling. At least Johnny Flynn has worked out...

As has Ty Lawson.
I still can't believe they took 3 PGs. -
Pick6I dont think the top 10 or so is THAT bad..I could see Irving, Knight, Walker, Williams, and Kanter being allstars. Outside of the top 10 or so is pretty bad. So, I suppose having two lottery picks makes it good for the Cavs. I would be happy having any combination of the above mentioned players.
-
KR1245Yeah. This class looks pretty weak. People werent too impressed with the Blake Griffin class either
I dont know if Griffin is a "great" player yet but the guy is def on his way. I guess time will tell, I still think there will be some all-stars in this class. He's an unbelievable athlete, but not an overly skilled player,'' an executive said. "He's a combination of strength and power, but he's not a jump shooter, and he has trouble scoring over people of length and size inside. People are assuming he'll be a great player, but I don't see great players in this draft. I don't see a Derrick Rose.

i figure it is...i think the whole lottery thing is stupid though -
The BossI don't know, if the Cavs get reallllllllllllllll lucky and get Irving and Wiliams/Thompson, that'll be a really nice draft for them.
-
wildcats20Welp looks like they are just gonna go in order...
-
