I bet if Acta had an OC.He would of listened to his score more runs advice and we'de never lose. -
KR1245Tough loss
Hopefully Fausto can get us a win tonight up in Minny. Go Tribe! -

Julio Jones will hit more HR than AJ Green.
Go Tribe! -

No kidding. Last time we had a Julio (Franco) he did pretty well for the Tribe. The only "AJ" I can think of is Pierzynski and he's a friggin putz.royal_k;747507 wrote:Julio Jones will hit more HR than AJ Green.

He's got a terrific mindset for a closer, he accepted blame for the loss and jokingly apologized for blowing Tomlins W (via twitter). I think he'll be just fine. -

I like Brantley leading off, but I'd have Grady at 5 -
royal_kAre some of you not seeing that Grady is hitting over .400?
I think this whole lead off thing is overrated between the 2. More times than not, the actual lead off hitter only leads off 1 time in a game. Hell, wednesday night Brantley led off an inning 3 times hitting 7th. -

Let's see Grady's average after 20 games. -

Don't pay any attention to him peeps. That's the Toaster Strudel talking.... -

Yes, but he is hitting after the 7/8/9 hitters (even though one is Brantley right now). If he is batting behind some better hitters, he accumulates some more RBI chances for all the extra base hits he is garnering. -
Footwedgefirst heartbreaker of the season...won't be the last.

I heard Acta is bringing in the GOAT for to be Santana's batting coach. -

Benjamin? It can't be. lol
Still split on the road, you almost always take that. Although probably should have been a sweep or at least 3/4. -
grodtReally we could have swept, or they could have. All 4 games were very close and both teams had their chances to win them. I'm very happy with a split against an underrated Royals team that batted out of their minds (it seemed like) for the entire series. Also, Alex Gordon is turning into that player that I'm going to hate because he always seems to fuck us over.
Let's go Tribe and take it to Minnesota! -
wildcats20Yeah, this Minny series could be HUGE for the Tribe.

wes_mantoothOn a serious note...I keep waiting for this starting pitching to collapse, but it hasn't. That blown save last night was not a big deal...even guys like Mariano go through that. This has been the best April for the tribe in a long ass time...so I am still super pumped about this team.

More importantly for the Royals, he appears to be turning into the player they thought they drafted (an MVP candidate). -

The best thing about this start is exactly that. Typically, pitching doesnt just go away. It will slow down obviously, but it usually doesnt abandon a team like hitting can. The pitching has been there and the offense has been ok. If the offense picks up (basically, just Choo and Santana) than the Tribe isnt going anywhere. I was thinking pre-season we would need the hitting to stay competitive because the pitching wouldnt be there consistently. -
HitsRusI thought the Tribe pitchers got squeezed in the late innings. Yeah, I know...blame it on the umpires and you are a sore loser. Nevertheless, that's my humble opinion.
One thing I've always said about Sipp is that he can be streaky....unhittable for stretches...and then he'll have a couple of bad games in a row. Looks like that's what happened last nite.
Too many walks from the guys coming out of the pen.....ugh....but when the umpire is calling pitches at the belt balls for being too high, that's what happens. -
royal_kThought the same thing hits...but I wasn't gonna be the one to bring it up

I brought it up last night.....
I thought so too...but hey I'm just happy we are winning! -
riders1The strike zone has been the belt for at least 15 to 20 years, not just this year.

I wasn't really upset with the low or high calls.....I think they are squeezing it on the corners. I have never seen it this tight before.
The pitches that resulted in ball 4 were obvious, I don't question those...but the pitches leading up to ball 4 could've gone either way imo.
