Sad but true.
He's still 2 steps away from being game ready. -
rock_knutneI wouldn't be too shocked if Crosby were to come back during this series. NHL coaches are known for not giving up any info what so ever on injured players and while Crosby's situation is different, I'm willing to bet he's closer to coming back than what the organization is leading on to.

Shero has been hush-hush on a lot of stuff concerning Sid but, he still has to clear contact and conditioning stints. -

rock_knutneI think the Pens will target a weakling in this series, like they do with Mike Green of the Caps and Kimo Timmonen of the Flyers. Personally, I think they will blast St. Louis every chance they get, he's a 35 year old midget that can't stand to be hit.

St. Louis is a tank though and is very quick. They should target either Gagne. -

There's no doubt the guys in shape but he's 35 and IMO, not as quick as he used to be. The Pens were throwing him around last week in Tampa, I expect more of the same in this series. Yeah, Gagne is another one......forgot about him.The_Crosby_Show;739587 wrote:St. Louis is a tank though and is very quick. They should target either Gagne. -
End of LineI expect Bylsma to use Martin-Michalek to try and shutdown Stamkos/St. Louis.
-
Raw Dawgin' itSt. Louis had 99 points...yeah, seems like he's the weak link.
-
rock_knutneI see there's still some idiotic opinions floating around on this thread like a turd in a toilet bowl.

rock_knutne
He did say those guys are his #1 defensive tandem yesterday. I also think Orpik and Letang will have a big series defensively but Letang has to step up on the offensive end, he hasn't done much lately.The_Crosby_Show;739854 wrote:I expect Bylsma to use Martin-Michalek to try and shutdown Stamkos/St. Louis. -

Like yours for thinking St. Louis is their weak link (see post #53) -
End of LineLETS GO PENS!

rock_knutneMan some people are dumb! The Pens will "PHYSICALLY" target a player or two on the Tampons squad, typically players who are WEAK in the physical department and don't like to be hit.

As I said, he had 99 points and the pens aren't going to be the first team to be physical with him. Pretty sure he can handle it. Now, if you had lecavalier i might have a greed with you, but not a rugged player like St. Louis. Nice try through acting as if you know anything about teams outside of pittsburgh -

Lecavalier, Gagne, Moore, and Malone would be the ones to target.
St. Louis is one tough SOB and his skating and vision is incredible. -

LOL, he's 5'5" tall old man......trust me, they will have him in their sites and blast him to death all series long.
BTW, if there's anyone you wouldn't target physically it's Malone, he's an animal. -

And it looks like he can take a hit better than the 6 foot tall crosby... -

I would target Malone, only to get into his head.
But man, you're seriously under-rating St. Louis. -
rock_knutne
I'm not underrating him at all, I never said he doesn't have talent and the guy's work out regiment is the stuff of legends. He doesn't like to get hit and the Pens know that and will go after him all series long.The_Crosby_Show;740201 wrote:I would target Malone, only to get into his head.

rock_knutneI see that turd (that hasn't seen a Stanley Cup hoisted in his town in 39 years) is still floating in the toilet, wish someone would flush it down!

You're grasping at straws here. His playoff numbers and stanley cup ring say otherwise. -
