Well I absolutely believe he was in the back of lebrons head last year. But think about it. Would you rather drive knowing Perkins is there, and might try to take your head off ? Or drive against the o'neals or big baby?!?

Lebron James doesn't like physical contact AT ALL. Bang on him a few times and he starts shooting jumpers the rest of the night. The Cavs wanted him to play more in the low post but he wouldn't do it (afraid of consistent physical contact).

We'll see what happens in the playoffs I guess.

Doesnt like physical contact and leads the league or is top 3 routinely in "And 1's" ? He gets to the hoop often, with contact. As is seen by his FT numbers

There's a difference in driving to the hole knowing that your opponent respects/fears you (which LBJ does to teams that kowtow to him) and will just foul you versus driving to the hole against a team that has no respect for you and isn't afraid to try to take your head off come playoff time (Celtics). Like I said, the Celtics are in LBJ's head.

I am in disbelief of this statement

Be in disbelief ALL you want. Go back and watch previous series where he played for the Cavs against the Celtics. He's a different type of player.

EDIT: As I sit here and just finish watching the ESPN roundtable analysts say they feel that the Kendrick Perkins trade will make Miami the favorite because Bosh will now be able to "sleep at night" and Lebron will now be "free to drive the lane."

You are joking right? Lebron is one of, if not the most, physical player in the NBA.

Your joking right? Must be why he loves to play in the post and is good at it. Just because he dunks the ball with authority and has a good physique doesn't make him a "physical" player.
Ask Brevin Knight, he will tell you.

Lol I really really really dislike LBJ....but this blind hatred thing is kinda funny. He may not be the most physical player in the NBA...but a player who leads the league in And 1's often...isnt afraid of contact lol. He may not like getting his head tore off going though the lane (who does?) but he doesnt shy away from it

Just because he doesn't post up, doesn't mean he isn't a physical player. He is 4th in the league in FT attempts per game, which means he's attacking the rim. Guys who don't like to play physical don't attack the rim.

Kevin Durant shoots the 3rd most FT's in the NBA most for a SF, I guess he is more physical than Lebron. LOL FT attempts are more of a "respect" thing with the refs not an indication of how physical you are. Otherwise Kendrick Perkins would lead the league in Ft attempts.
Also, physical players do not fake elbow injuries and sit out 4 games for a strained pinky finger on your non shooting hand.

What a joke saying LeBron is one of the most physical players in the NBA. Sure, he is physical and will attack the rim when he is playing against pussy teams, but when he goes against tough teams that are going to make sure their presence is felt, he backs down. If you disagree, then you obviously don't watch LeBron enough. Just watch the celtics series from last year, or the ECF vs Orlando 2 years ago. He pussed out after while and settled with holding onto the ball on the top of the key for 20 seconds, before taking a mid range shot. That type of shit pissed me off even when I was a LBJ fan. Also lol at the and 1 comments from HB and co. I am pretty sure you are the same people who bitched about LeBron getting the star treatment (which he did/does) while he was with the Cavs. Nice contradiction fail. Which one is it, star treatment or he is physical?

How do you explain the playoffs series against the Wizards a few years ago then? They kept hammering him every time he went to the hole and he kept attacking. For people to accuse LeBron of not being physical is laughable. How many times have we seen LeBron on a breakaway and the other player try to foul him and he still runs right through them and finishes and gets the And1? I hope for your sake that your post is a joke because I laughed out loud at some parts of it.
  • Hb31187
How do you explain? Lol Easy...he was still in most Cavs fans(including like_that's) good graces. So he was physical, clutch and a great player. Now that hes not...hes a bum, faked injuries, gave up, wasnt physical ect ect ect

Well like_that made a post about physical teams that were going to make sure their presence was felt.....I think the Wizards decking him everytime he entered the paint qualified as "making their presence felt". But whatever. I now see that this is just another opportunity for bitter fans to continue to whine about the Celtics series last year. Carry on.

I didn't say that. Nice try putting words in my mouth. I just don't think he is amongst the most physical players in the NBA. If he was, he wouldn't have been a pussy vs Orlando and held the ball at the top of the key.

Once again, I didn't say he wasn't physical (see my response to HB's first quote). As for the Wizards series a few years ago, I don't really recall them being as physical as Orlando and the Celtics. I do know one thing though, the wizards didn't have a player like Dwight Howard, or anyone as tough as the Celtics' bigs. LeBron owned the wizards so he was confident enough to drive to the lane. When he was challenged to pick on somebody his own size, he backed down (see my comment about holding the ball on top of the key).

This is such a cop out argument. Just because people like Sleeper and SQ sucked LeBron's dick while he was with the cavs and thought he could do no wrong, doesn't mean everyone did. Yeah we all supported LeBron, but there were definitely things that pissed me off about him, which I already explained with him holding the ball and taking mid range shots. As for the other things you claim we are accusing LeBron of:

being a bum: I still think he is the best player in the NBA. Most Cavs fans do as well, or definitely acknowledge him as one of the best.
faking injuries: I sure as hell haven't heard one word about his elbow since that series ended. Most of the evidence points to him faking.
gave up: Most of the evidence also points to him giving up in game 5.
wasn't physical: Once again, just to reiterate my stance so it doesn't get by you. I never said he wasn't physical, I just don't think he is one of the most physical players in the NBA right now.

GTFO with all these stupid ass assumptions.

Durant lacks the physical stature of Lebron, however, he isn't afraid to attack the rim. And part of the reason he shoots so many FT's is because teams try to play his physical.
  • Hb31187
Acknowledge him as one of the best? Its hard to tell that because most of what I see on here is Cavs fans downplaying everything he does.

The injury thing I cant say anything about because I gave him plenty of shit for that pinky injury

Gave up, id need to watch that game again. His numbers for that playoff series were still pretty damn good, but his supporting cast for the most part shit the bed, much like the Orlando series.

I wasnt the one that said he was one of the most physical players in the NBA that was Dynasty. I was arguing that he doesnt shy away from contact, or stop going to the hoop after hes been fouled
