No, he went 1-5 and raised his average a couple points, so that wouldn't apply last night. Look out if he gets back to .200!!!!!! -
Ironman92If he keeps going 1/5 he'll never make it to .200
Quite the goal though! -
riders1Tigers breathing down the necks of the featherheads, 1 game lead. Tigers play Mariners, featherheads play Yankees this weekend. Will there be a new leader in the AL Central?

riders aren't you a Reds fan? You sure seem to be more interested in Cleveland's demise than the Reds' season lol -
karen lotzYanks are in a downward spiral. Indians will miss CC as he pitched last night so they should have a good shot in every game of the series. Bullpen is also weakened after Chamberlain tore up his elbow this week.

I was trying to figure out which team he rooted for, because he sure takes a Capone approach, being more concerned about Cleveland than his own team. -

I'd read some posts by you and others about his bat, so I finally looked it up. .170? Did he go blind during the off-season and has just somehow managed to fool the team that his eyes still work or something? -
Ironman92Did Dusty Baker make out the lineup for Atlanta?
-
karen lotzMcCann gets night off and Prado hasn't played in a few days. Can't really see David Ross, Eric Hinske, or anyone else available being any better there. Maybe Alex Gonzalez but then the bottom half of the line up will nothing more than useless. Hopefully the Stros pitch UGGLA inside and he can lean into a couple.

Wait! Are you trying to say that smart managers don't regularly put .170 hitters with .230ish on-base percentages in the two-hole? Not that I can laugh too much, as I'm pretty sure the prototype leadoff hitter bats higher than roughly .240, which is where Jose Tabata's been for the past eternity. -

Yeah pretty much. Either that or he is trying to prove to everyone that he deserves the contract extension he signed by trying to hit every ball 3 miles. The result has been a lot of pop ups on the infield and strike outs on breaking balls in the dirt. And hell, the last couple times he has really squared the ball up he has lined into double plays. Its just been bad all around. -
karen lotzAt least he has been playing really good defense. I shit you not.
-
karen lotzFack, Prado to the DL with a staph infection in his calf. Had some kind of procedure on it today. Would be great to get him and Heyward back and have a regular lineup again.
-
Ironman92I like Prado. Team player....switch positions.....never miss a beat

Ironman92Ichiro is benched tonight and hitting just .149 since May 19th
