    I hope Ward blocks Cromartie.

I am looking forward to Revis and Ward going at it.

I really don't see Ward doing much as a receiver.

He's pretty slow now. He might catch a few short ones.

Sanders has to have a big game against whoever is guarding him. That's a key matchup.

Settle down about what? You're the one who made the remark, not me.

Revis dont want know part of Ward. On another note the Jets just signed a dlineman from their practice squad to their active roster. Could this be a sign that Ellis might not play?

There is a lot of talk of the Steelers playing without Polamolu and Miller in the first meeting but being over looked is the Jets were without Eric Smith, Trevor Pryce and Pouha had a cast on his hand. All three guys are great against the run so they could be a big factor in limiting the Steelers yardage on the ground. Or the Steelers could rush for 300 yards. You never know.

Revis is a very physical corner. He can handle himself. Ward isn't some otherworldly God out there.

I agree about that. You can't look at that game too much and compare it to an AFC championship.

Both teams will be a lot different.

I think there's a slight chance at a Steelers buzzsaw as I said last week against the Ravens. It all depends on the momentum.

For example, the way the Steelers played in the third quarter fired up and the crowd going insane, if that's how they start the game and get a couple turnovers early then it could be a rout.

But chances are it will be low scoring and close the entire way.

The weather might hurt the crowd a little bit. I've been to a lot of NFL games and when it's 20-30 degrees, that is nothing. Perfect football weather to be rowdy.

But 5 degrees, 8 degrees, where you have to wear blankets, then you have to be concerned about not freezing more, that will take away from the crowd a little bit.

Also if you're giving an edge based on the injury front.

McFadden not being able to play I think would give that edge to the Jets.

If you're just saying who is in, who is out and what team might gain an advantage from that, Ellis is probably a go, Brad Smith will go, Polamalu will go, but McFadden not playing would create a depth issue for the Steelers secondary going into the game.

And here I thought that applied to EVERY fan of every other team in the NFL. Dammit!

The mayors have their bets in. When the Steelers win Bloomberg has to place the terrible towel on a nyc landmark.

Jets seek their first trip to the big game since the days of Joe Namath.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case. I was holding out hope that he'd call today and say "Fuck it, let's go." But he hasn't.

I may go after the ref if it's like the last game, although not sure I want to mess with Hochuli.
