Looks like it. Just be happy the Steelers won. Ben is gonna give it to you good tonight, whether you like it or not.

I dont understand how after the first drive, Hillis had 6 more carries into the 3rd quarter. FAILhomme dropping back for passes on 1st down, throwing 1 yd passes....the offense was just putrid.

That is a fact it appears the only people who did not see this was Brown fans.

It was too hard as there were too many canidates. So congrats guys, you get to share IPOTW for the first time ever. You couldn't even beat out the usual winner, Capone, his game is slippin.

Yeah, if you are going to throw 1 yd out passes...might as well just run the damn ball....even with Hillis putting it on the turf several times. Daboll is terrible and if it is Mangini is putting Delhomme out there because he is stubborn, then he needs to have his ass ripped for this as well.

I'm not sure if it was fucking Dumboll or FAILhomme afraid to go down field but it was terrible. Also the execution of some of the plays, the one in the 4th it was like 3rd and 3 with single back, double TEs, and two WRs on the field. Hikes it and Royal runs into momass and FAILhomme has no where to go with the ball. Both ran 4 yd curls, the Bills defended it perfectly. This falls on the players for execution but also on the OC as it was a terrible play call, and not getting the guys on the same page to get freaking open. It was a joke.

Gotta love how when the Browns have a bad game, all the smegma lickers come crawling out of their holes in the ground.

Today was a totally putrid performance by the offense...and they might as well have had klown kars in the backfield on some of those plays. It was that bad (and comical in a sick kind of way).

I don't know who is saying Delhomme should be under center (Holmgren, Heckert or Mangini) but whoever it is, they are dead wrong, and it cost the Browns a game today.

You can't tell me that a healthy Wallace (I'm assuming here) is incapable of leading this team to more than 13 points. Instead, we had a QB who doesn't have "diminishing" skills...he has diminished skills. He just isn't able to play at the level required to win consistently in the NFL.

But Delhomme had plenty of help today. Hillis played his worst game as a Brown, and can't seem to shake the fumble problems. Throw in Josh Cribbs who is either not healthy yet (and if not, why is he out here?) or who has simply decided to mail it in since he got his big contract. He didn't even know which way to go on a reverse.

    Like I said...Klown Kars.

Wallace or McCoy need to play these last three games if they are healthy. If Delhomme starts and we've got one or both of those options on the sidelines, then I will reverse my position of the past two seasons and ask that Mangini be summarily fired after this year is over.

unless you at least try to stretch the field, teams are going to continue to put 9 guys in the box and jam the line of scrimmage. Whether it is that we don't have a QB who could throw downfield, or the wideouts, or both...until we do, this offense is going nowhere. I don't understand the 2 yd passes...what a joke.

i believe mangini has more than earned another year but if he keeps trotting delhomme out there, i might have to reconsider. terrible qb play is nothing new around here (charlie frye, brady quinn, and derek anderson, i'm looking in your direction) but usually whomever was in there was our best option. but now jake is at best our third best qb and even then brett ratliff is probably nipping at his heels for that distinction. yet, jakey poo keeps getting trotted out there when it's clear he belongs on the sidelines. i can't believe either mangini or the fo have failed to realize that

What were Mangini's options today at qb? Throwback dinged up rookie or a dinged up career back up out there to start the game.
  • royal_k
McCoy couldn't have played, but Wallace could have and should have. I believe Jake cost us the game, as well. He was terrible.

Jake Delhomme makes me look like a legit NFL starter.
  • Commander of Awesome
FAILhomme was Trent Dilfer bad on Sunday.

Im honestly convinced we are trying to lose games now for draft picks. You do NOT put Jake out there to start ANY game, the man has thrown more TD passes to the OTHER TEAM, than he has for our team.

Secondly, we drive the ball down the field, 1st drive of the game, we are on the one FOOT line.....and you don't line up with Hillis in the backfield and Vickers leading the way? WTF?

Its the 1st drive of the GAME, set a TEMP, don't surrender right off the bat, if you DON'T get it, you give them the ball with 99 yards to drive, and your defense isn't THAT bad.....hell, give your team a shot!

In my honest opinion, no NFL Offense should NOT score at least 14 points in a game, field goals or whatever. we couldn't beat 13 this week.

They better focus this week in practice, because we are heading to Cincy, and honestly....I would HATE to lose that game!

Was listening to 97.1 this morning and they were saying Mangini is unsure who is going to start Sunday in Cincinnati.

I will put money on Cincinnati to end their 10 game losing streak if DelBum starts.
  • Con_Alma
If McCoy is healthy he is the starter. That was stated this morning.
  • Writerbuckeye
If McCoy is unable to go in this game, Cleveland loses for sure. That is assuming Mangini sticks with Delhomme and doesn't use Wallace.

He stated in his presser yesterday, if it's not McCoy it will be Delhomme. The thing the worries me is, he also said that the things they are trying to do with the offense, Jake does them VERY well....
