Week 14: Cleveland Browns @ Buffalo Bills

  • newarkcatholicfan
Love seeing the Bills play just well enough to have the lead last in this one.

Really thought thought the offense would do much better than they have.

How are delhomme and daboll still part of the browns?
  • Blanket
    There ya go.
  • KR1245
It amazes me how much better this team looks with a rookie QB.
  • Cleveland Buck
Well, that will do it. Nice game Jake.
  • BRF
Jimmy Donovan is "going off" about what is happening.
  • Blanket
He should write a letter of thanks to Mike Holmgren for being able to steal 8 million dollars.

Daboll has no reason to be on this team after today. Get him out. This team will never succeed with him there or with this joke in at QB. A loss to the bills, really? I try to like Mangini, and it looks like were so close, but there is no excuse for this horrendous display today.
  • Cleveland Buck
The defense has been a disappointment for much of the game, but this wasn't their fault. The Browns would have been better off with any other QB in the NFL or college today.
  • KR1245
Playing Delhomme is going to cost Mangini his job. He's as good as gone. Unless the Browns can turn it on and take 2 out of these next 3 he's a goner
  • iclfan2
BTW, where the hell has Watson been today? Our best receiver and I haven't heard his name today.

I doubt that. They will give him one more year.
  • Blanket
Watson was targeted just 1 time today.

Reghi has been saying all year that Mangini really wants to have Jake be the QB of this team, and it was hard on him to keep having to play McCoy because he is not a Mangini guy.

I think that Holmgren needs to do the right thing and relieve Mangini of his duties. He has done a good job turning it around, but it just not capable of leading this team to the next level as it will require coaching talented players, and he has shown no willingness to do that. He prefers hard working bums above all else and it is just time to move on from that.
  • Blanket
I dont know how they can justify bringing him back next year.

Apparently the 2 yard out pattern isn't his go to route.

The problem with that is, Holmgren will want to shift to a West Coast team, and this offense isn't even close to being built for a west coast offense.

Can you just send this fucker where he belongs to already?
  • Blanket
How close was Hillis when he fumbled on the leap in the 1st half?

sadly, Mangini has no one to blame but himself.

not for that comment...because I agree. He is a waste of bandwidth, but he is spot on with that comment.

I totally agree. Hes set in his ways and he will lose his job because of it. If he thinks that Jake Delhomme gives this team the best chance to win than he deserves to be fired.
