Lebron says no

Have to disagree on that one. Shit, tonight as part of the telecast we saw Red right 88, the drive, the fumble, Jose fuckin' Mesa and all the rest of it...LeBron is part of that now. The media brings it up every fucking time there's an important Cleveland sporting event. They will not let it go thus it WILL be his enduring legacy, you can count on it

    You just proved everyone's point.

Rings take you to another level. It doesn't matter how you got them.

If Bron wins a ring; he will go from just another great player to that next level of greatness.

I was on Noahs side with the dancing though...

Yeah understandable. I just find it ironic how the same actions that made Lebron so loved then, are what make him hated now. No matter what he does, he will be criticized. He says nice things and people say he's being fake. He says things that are not so nice, and that is Lebron showing his true colors.

I just said that if Karl Malone wins a ring, he does not get put into their category. I just said the absolute opposite of your point, but yet I proved your point?

Yeah. Cleveland will never forget, but the national media will.

I thought it said does get put into that category...I misread.

Either way, if The Mailman wins a ring with that Lakers team he moves to the upper echelon of great players.

See that does not make a whole lot of sense to me. Yes rings should be taken into consideration, and obviously Kobe and Jordan having all the rings they have adds to their legacy, but championship teams need a lot of luck that has nothing to do with a particular player, that one ring really does not make that player any better or worse.

No I'm not saying that the media won't forget the decision, but they have been hard on Lebron thus far. If he wins a championship, they will be back on his bandwagon. So I agree with what your saying, I just think that, other than when Lebron plays Cleveland, the negative perception will be gone.

    LOL, he mentioned the Pirates.

    My god.

Either way, who cares what LeBron says? He doesn't owe anything to anybody.

It's a stretch to call someone "great" when they have to go to someone elses team so that dont have to be the man on thier own team, I understand he wants a ring but it seems as he doesn't want to work very hard for it or can't handle the pressure of being the man on a team....so the word great is a stretch

And no I'm not a "butthurt" Cleveland fan I can't stand Lebron or Cleveland and never could, they can both get fucked. The only thing maybe he should apologize for is to his ex teammates and the Cavs organization for making them find out his plans the same time as the dirty hobo that happen to be walking by tv when he made his decision. He doesn't owe the fans shit.

It's not a stretch to call Lebron great at all. In fact there is no doubt that he is great, and there is a good chance he'll go down as one of the greatest. Now you can question a lot of things about him since the decision, but there is no(logical) debate that he is great.
