  Actually it makes sense.
  
  He did time the drop of the green flag perfectly on that restart, however he made a lane change before he got to the stripe (went too soon), thus the black flag.

  Partially correct. But he was talking about hooking up with the inside car. In which case, he didn't time it right because he changed over too soon. It was just a funny comment.

  That's a pretty retarded reason to 'hate' someone. Who gives a fuck who they thank? So he has faith. Big deal. What the hell is wrong with that? He's not the only driver that has 'thanked god' after winning a race. When you're driving 170 mph week in and week out, I don't think there is anything wrong with someone having a little faith in something/someone.

Richard Childress Racing was third on the list, followed by Joe Gibbs Racing and Penske Racing.   SQ, he also thanked his crew chief, owner, team, other drivers, fans, parents, etc. along with thanking God. I see no problem and don't care how much or how little someone expresses their religious thanks in a moment of celebration. NFL players often take a knee after a TD, does that piss you off? God might have inspired the player to work harder and be strong enough to break tackles, so maybe God broke those tackles. Bayne has been inspired and taught since birth to believe and now he has reason to, he won the 500 at 20 years old. He is naive, really. His childhood was very structured, but in a good way. Some 20 year old athletes are out getting arrested and suspended, then posting ignorant remarks on twitter. Would you like Bayne more if he had a violent criminal record?

  wow that's insane, i would have never imagined 1 of every 3 dollars could go to one driver in a sport so big.
