lol I remember watching that live and everyone in the bar was going crazy. This was a bar in LA, even californians could appreciate that. -

rock_knutne1-1 with 5 minutes left in the 2nd period. Tyler Kennedy with the Pittsburgh goal, he's on fire!
-
killer_ewokPens win 2-1 in the SO. Kunitz with the winner.
Nice! -
rock_knutne^^^^Indeed a huge win for Pittsburgh!!!!
They out played the Flyers for the most part and held them without a shot in the third period. Would have loved to take all the points tonight but a win against your arch rival in their house is always nice. BTW, Letang played a great game but man, how many open nets can the guy miss? -
GoPensMuch needed win for the Pens. Just a shame that Philly ended up with a point.
-
End of LinePens dominated Philly all night. Kovy had a sick SO goal and Kuntiz with the winner!
-
rock_knutneAnother big game tonight as the Pens return home to face "The Devil".

He look's sharp and IMO, will be back for the playoffs. -
Raw Dawgin' itlove the stick handling drill videos, it's crazy how good these guys are with a puck.

thavoiceLittle side story...friend just stopped in and said that his mom had surgery awhile ago and goes to rehab, and her rehab is the same time as Malkin's! She is like 55-60 or so. Said he does nto say much, mostly just hi (as he cannot speak english no to well). Just thought that was funny.
Sid will be a good addition in the playoffs as they need each bit of talent possible. Just hope that the team still plays well and does not lean on him to do it all. They are doing a good job of others stepping up their play. Two things happen when a star comes back....1. Team exhales and thinks the star can and will do it all or 2. the rest of the team continues on and the addition of the star just adds anothe rimportant dimension. Lets hope it is the latter -
End of LineJeffrey will most likely be joining Geno in PT.
He was doing great for the time he was getting. -

He looks just about ready for a return to me. Sid's really skating and moving hard in those drills.The_Crosby_Show;724059 wrote:New video of Sid practicing. He breaks the goalie water bottle with a backhand in this.

When he starts getting hit is when you should be hopeful -
Raw Dawgin' itHere's a cool article on man games lost this year due to injury. Pitt is 8th on the list

That is true. Looking sharp is drills is a good sign, but nothing really matters until he shows that he can do it on the ice for real in a situation where he'll be taking hits. When it comes to head trauma (especially when it takes someone out of action for an extended time), no one knows exactly how a person will be affected down the road. He could come back as good as before and give the team a huge boost towards a great postseason or he could come back and be tentative and less effective. No one will know until it happens.
