Random NBA chatter

I haven't read this whole page, so not sure if this has been talked about. But if you're the heat and your up 20 in the third quarter, why didn't they let Howard get his or foul him instead of doubling him and giving up wide open 3's. Because once Orlando gets going from behind the arc, no lead is safe.

Heat versus top 4 of each conference are 4-9 this year:
    @ Boston L 88-80
    vs Boston L 112-107
    @ Boston L 85-82

    vs Orlando W 96-70
    @ Orlando L 104-95
    @ Orlando W 104-100
    vs Orlando L 99-96

    @ Chicago L 99-96
    @ Chicago L 93-89

    vs Dallas L 98-96
    @ Dallas L 106-95

    @ LA Lakers W 96-80

    @ OKC W 108-103

In their next seven games they play San Antonio twice, Chicago, the Lakers, and Oklahoma City once. Will be interesting to see how they come out of that stretch.

lol at you for trying to call someone out for not knowing basketball.

Bron had a nice 4th quarter, gotta give the guy credit

Cavs have more wins vs the top 6 teams in the league than the Heat

No shit. It could be any one of them with Bosh's performance, Wade pussying out and letting Lebron take over HIS team or Lebron for settling for jumpers instead of playing to his strength.

No shit? Thats a helluva stat. I just happened to watch the second half, it was shocking. What a comeback.

I told people this would be lbj's team. I have a feeling wade misses the feeling of carry people on his back. Lets see if he becomes the alpha make in clutch time.

And this is a major part of their issue, IMO. Wade was a leader with a fire in his belly. Lebron couldn't lead a fart out of his own asshole. He proved that in Cleveland.
  • karen lotz
So you are comparing Cleveland to Lebron's asshole and the Cavs to a fart?? Interesting thought.

Complete ignorance. Lebron led, what has proved to be a very poor team, to the best record in the NBA, and a NBA Finals. Quit acting like he's accomplished absolutely nothing in his career.

No. I'm saying Lebron's not a leader. PERIOD. A "leader" doesn't have to leave a city to join forces with other stars to chase a ring. Kobe & Magic never left LA (and before ANYONE says ANYTHING about Kobe, I think we ALL know his intentions were to never leave LA). Bird stayed in Boston. Same with Jordan in Chi-Town. Pretty obvious that Lebron's a follower and doesn't like to have the weight of the world on his shoulders. Some thrive on that. He doesn't.
  • Hb31187
Yes all those stars stayed put.

And played along side numerous HOF'ers

There's a difference between being a "mega talented player", which Lebron IS, and a "leader." Lebron James is NOT a leader. You can try to say he "lead by example with his play" which I'd agree with but as far as being a VERBAL, BOISTEROUS LEADER? No chance in Hell.

And BTW...FUCK YOU PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE TROLL BITCH!

Good to know you know how Lebron thinks. We get it, you don't like him. But quit diminishing what he's accomplished. He is absolutely a leader. Maybe he's not clutch, and that is debatable, but whether he's a leader is not up for debate.

Kobe, Magic, Jordan and Bird didn't have to leave their cities, because they all played with other hall of famers. But yea, keep reaching.

Stay classy! We have a nice debate going on in this thread and you resort to this? Good to know you handle debates at the level of an 8th grader.

    well...according to sq_crazies Lebron was playing with 2 HOF'ers in Cleveland. :)

Not diminishing his athletic talent but I'm certainly not gonna suck his dick like you will. He's NOT a leader. He's a follower. He followed Bosh to South Beach.

Big difference with Magic, Jordan & Bird. Their teams DRAFTED most of those HOF players. They didn't team up/collude to "take their skills" to another city.

"A nice debate?" You're gonna call me "ignorant", being the troll bitch that you are, and not expect it to come back to you BOTH barrels? It's the SECOND time you've tried your passive aggressive shit on me today. You might grab your ankles for others but I don't.

There definitely is a difference. When Bird was drafted by Boston they sucked worse than the Cavs did. When Magic went to the Lakers they couldn't do jack in the Playoffs.
The Bulls before Jordan? anyone remember any players (without the aid of google) besides maybe Norm Van Lier?

How good were the Cavs before they drafted LeBron? I don't think they were a playoff team considering they had the number one overall pick.

And the Cavs couldn't draft those HOF players because they were drafting towards the end of the first round most of the time LeBron was there. Look at who they drafted. I understand you hate LeBron, but still try to be realistic about your thoughts. LeBron had to go to another city because there was no chance anyone was going to join him in Cleveland. I'm sorry you can't understand that.
