    Lol.

If you call changing your argument about 5 times and still not winning dominance then yeah.

This by far is one of the funniest comments I have ever seen on this board.

So because the Browns have been bad and the Steelers have been good, the OSU fan base has grown?? Are you fucking kidding me??

It also has ZERO to do with Browns fans (not OSU fans, although there are many that like both) knowledge of the NFL.

I'm telling ya, look at Non's posts since he started this shit. Eerily similar to the type of stuff Capone would post. I'm thinking he's just "dumbing down" the posts on the Capone/Modell user name so he wouldn't out himself.

    No, that's true.

OSU has benefited from the Browns struggles over the past two decades.

    Absolutely true.

It has much to do with it when the fans overload on information for college and then only follow the NFL casually or not at all.

I thought you were done? Do yourself a favor and quit making yourself look like an idiot.

It's just too bad the Clowns front office doesn't have the football smarts as their fans on OC. Maybe they could be competitive someday.

You don't think OSU has benefited from the Browns departure, return and lack of success?

Also Tressel going to OSU sparked significantly more interest in Northeast Ohio.

OSU has a strong tradition going back a long time but there has been another major bump in interest over the past decade.

A lot of them were Browns fans who know the Steelers have a stranglehold on the NFL so they're going to look towards college for that missing thrill and rush and the feeling of being for a winner.

This is not your original argument. It is about Browns fans. Not OSU fans that casually follow the Browns.

This has nothing to do with which fans are more knowledgeable.

It's part of the same argument because a lot of Browns fans have resorted to being only casual fans because of the lack of success. They're not invested in the Browns like they were with the Cavs or with OSU.

This was mostly a different topic and point.

OSU has received a boost from the Browns instability.

But because of this, many fans have focused more attention on college and their knowledge for the NFL has slipped. Not everybody. Some have remained strongly for both if they have that time and energy. But I'd say overall success equals interest equals knowledge.

Huh? The Buckeyes play on Saturday, the Browns play on Sunday. You cant watch both? I watch the Buckeyes and college football on Saturday, I also watch the Browns and the NFL on Sundays..........I think most football fans are like this. You have NOTHING to back up your argument. We only need to look as far as Capone to see how many knowledgeable Steeler fans there out there.

Haven't found an IP that matches between the two yet, but this is bizarre. Zod/Non tended to not get involved in flame-wars unless provoked as opposed to preemptive strikes.

At least it's good to know that I know more about football than my friends who like other teams due to Pittsburgh's success. Sucks that as a Pirates fan, I know next-to-nothing at all about baseball. This is bringing the lulz to the degree that bbmind's in-depth manual concerning what team(s) you SHOULD follow based on state, interstate highways, etc.

Hopefully the heavy dose of "Trolls Be Gone" worked so if we can get back to the game....both Alex Mack & Peyton Hillis are "questionable" for this game. Hillis would be a major blow but Mack sitting out would be epicly bad.

As an Indians fan I was confirmed "brain dead" long ago. ;) At least you guys have 1979 to fall back on as Buccos fans.

I was just discussing this with another Browns fan. I dont even know who our back up is. Perhaps Joe Thomas can play both left spots on the line and have Steiny play center?

Possibly, but I wasn't quite six at the time...and I'm sure any latent baseball intelligence I'd have from that (and then gained from their three good seasons from 90-92) would have all went away with the !FUTILITY STREAK!

I mean...18 straight losing seasons? If success breeds knowledge, as far as baseball goes, I can't even count to potato anymore.

And as for the topic, not having Hillis/Mack would be a crusher. Seems you guys have been able to hang a hat on a good power-run game, so Wallace and/or Delhomme only needs to be a caretaker type, which is what they're best suited to do. Not having the power runner or a key offensive lineman (or having them, but not at 100%) would be a huge blow.

I think Luavao is Mack's backup. Steinbach can also play center but I don't think they have been working him there. Lauvao supposedly practiced yesterday and looked good.

Too bad Delhomme & Wallace didn't "take care" against TB & KC or the Browns would be 3-1 right now.
