  But that is mostly because I really want them to win, and not Chelsea or ManU.

  Although rock is an idiot, you can't let one poor performance at the WC define Italy that is for sure. They won 4 WC's for a reason. If it wasn't for Lippi's piss poor roster decisions, Italy would have definitely made it out of their group at least. They are already back to form leading their euro cup qualifying group by 3 pts right now.
  
  I don't really pay attention to the EPL, but what the fuck happened to liverpool? They went from playing in the champions league final a few years ago, to a team fighting off relegation.

  Liverpool is around 10th or 11th. They are fine in regards to relegation, but yes they are in complete disarray. I can't believe they lost to Stoke on Saturday. I've only watched one whole match of theirs this season and they got destroyed by City. I feel for Torres. I'd like to see him get out of there this summer.

  I thought they would go through, surely not dominate. Their lineup was old and slow, it was fucking obvious in every match they played.
  
  As for the EPL....I think its still wild open. A lot of matches to be played.

  Liverpool has new ownership (same as the boston red sox) and is expected to spend alot come jan 1st. The reason for their decline is the last ownership was in bankruptcy and couldnt spend or add and big names
