Change an Art Modell thread title sometime for me. -
Curly JDamn cell phone. Maybe I should post it again...in my semi drunken state.
Sent from my ADR6300 aka Mantooth machine using Tapatalk...Hell ya FR's !!! -
Curly JAnd I have one word for you BRF...ballsdeep...well 2 words combimned. Meaning that kicker sure could kick those ballsdeep in the end zone.

Art ModellBR must be out burning his couch. Congrats BR your team is SuperBowl bound. hahahaaaaa
Where you at? hahahaaaaa -
HitsRusAs a Browns fan I have to say the officiating was terrible on both sides. If they keep on with these unnecessary roughness penalties, we might as well watch soccer.

Wahh WAHHH WAHH. The Bengals should go play flag football. Why don't you go somewhere else to cry and make excuses on why they lost. -

Brown didn't look like shit. He tripped on TO's long TD reception. TO didn't beat him off the read or anything, Sheldon simply tripped. It happens to the best of them from time to time. -
HereticIf I was a Browns fan, I'd be ecstatic over the Ward hit (since it didn't cost anything more than the score being closer at the end). Having a bad-ass intimidation machine on defense can only help. A lot of very good teams have had a safety who might get fined/flagged for hard/cheap hits from time to time, but makes an impact on the game because of the way he hits. Ryan Clark for Pittsburgh's murderized a guy or two (Wes Welker comes to mind), as have dudes like John Lynch, Rodney Harrison and Donovan Darius (greatest clothesline in the game!), as well as Chuck Cecil who's still up to being a mo-fo, flipping off a ref or something today as an assistant coach.

Go4alOngbOmBI can not complan one bit about the Browns winning. Though, I started having flashbacks from te past 3 weeks in my mind. My father and I used to be season ticket holders, we havent been able to afford it in this economy unfortunately. Usually at the end of a game, my father and I are going nuts, we were just sitting there, until the Bengals punted to us that last time, when Hilis ran that last 20 yarder, we were both on our feet yelling, I looked at him and said...."Wow Pops, that felt good didnt it?" All he said was "Yes...now lets see if we can pull off the victory formation for 3 snaps...we are Browns fans you know..."
God love my father....but I will admit, I held my breath for every one of those snaps! -
BR1986FBLike death & taxes I see some things NEVER change....the Browns pass defense STILL sucks and Capone is still a mother fucking retard.
The Browns run D was stout but the pass defense was brutal. E-Wright had a crappy game last week but look a little closer at this week's game...it was Sheldon Brown & Haden covering TO most of the game. Pretty sure Wright was assigned to Ocho.
Two pretty shitty calls by the refs that I saw. The hit by a Cincy defender on Watson that was called a personal foul was crap as was the Ward hit on Shipley. Let them play the friggin game.
Browns are only going to win RUNNING the ball.
Would you rather have Cribbs at WR or returning kicks? The reason I ask is that his time at WR is taking away his burst on special teams. He's been a non-factor as a KR.
The Peyton Hillis for Brady Quinn & draft picks trade was such a bad raping it even has Roethlisberger blushing.
Pass rush was a little better but I think a lot of that had to do with Palmer holding the ball too long.
Atlanta is a VERY winnable game. -

Agreed, when it happened I turned to my friends watching the game and asked, "When was the last time a player was afraid to go over the middle against the Browns?" I thought it was awesome.
During the game, an idiot Bungals fan kept texting me and talking shit; the entire game. I didn't reply. After they lost I called him and left him about 3 VMs, shouting "Who Dey! Who Dey?!! Answer: The Browns!!!" and other similar messages. Typical bungals pussy for not answering his phone after a thumping.
At the browns bar, a bunch a Bungal trolls were there wearing Palmer jerseys, idiots. lol. -
NateBengals fans have been missing since pre-game week 3. After 2 straight losses, they are no where to be found.

Go whine some more, you can't be serious with all this crap.
So the defenseless receiver call against the Bungals was "horrible" but the defenseless receiver call against the Browns, that actually gave CIN more points than it gave the Browns (3 for CLE, 7 instead of 4 for CIN), was legit?
You need to take the Bungal sunglasses off. Just accept the fact that you just lost to one of the worst teams in the NFL. -
jmoglike_that;506336 wrote:Anyone else love when Hillis ran Roy Williams over. Roy Williams is an idiot trying to shoulder tackle Hillis.
I'm never happy to see anyone with a brain injury, so I'm glad he got up and is ok, but it was hilarious to see him drop like a ton of bricks coming up to make that tackle. -
BR1986FBMy biggest concern with Hillis is that with the way he delivers out punishment I can't see his body holding up for 25+ carries per game for the rest of the season.

Terry_TateYou can't even compare the defenseless receiver hits. The one on Ward was 100% legit, whereas the one on Ndukwe was a joke. He had no ill intent and could have made that a much rougher hit than he did. Plus, he caught the ball! Absolutely ridiculous that was a penalty.
And the defensive holding call was sketchy too. Would have been approximately 3rd and 8 at their own 11 or 12 with a lot of time left, but instead it was a Browns first down.
Regardless though, the roughing the passer penalty on Baltimore 2 weeks ago was a joke too, so those types of penalties will probably even out the rest of the year. When the NFL is trying to make these judgement rules there's going to be some bad calls.
Kudos to the Browns for playing a tough game. I was worried about this one coming in as these aren't the Browns of old, and they showed it. I would not want to get in Peyton Hillis' way, that's for sure. Congrats to the Browns on the win, we'll see you in December. -

Yeah, and don't forget the Ray Lewis tripping call. That was bogus also. -

what? you might want to check your "facts" -

I will give you that, how to you explain the other 144 receiving yards? -

1. Defenseless receiver rule has ZERO to do with whether or not the receiver has caught the ball. Look up the rule. FYI, I think in a contact sport like football, neither of them should have been called, they weren't helmet/helmet and weren't really going after the head.Terry_Tate;506738 wrote:You can't even compare the defenseless receiver hits. 2. You can tell that the CIN defender had "no ill will" but the CLE defender did? Wow, really? You are a mind reader?
3. The CIN defender's didn't look "as bad" because you had a DB who was smaller than Watson, in Ward's case he was much bigger than Shipley, so the hit looked more "vicious". The CIN DB semi bounced off Watson. -

I wished you would have called me. I would have enjoyed the fact that you are going crazy about winning one game and ignoring the past 5-10 years. The Browns haven't been relevant since Kelly Holcomb was the QB. I'd hate to see you when the Browns are good. -

The Browns blitz ALOT, but they get very little pressure, leaving their DB's 1-on-1 w/ the WR's. There are maybe 2 guys(Revis, Asomugha(sp?)) that could cover TO or Boldin in situations like that.Pick6;506768 wrote:I will give you that, how to you explain the other 144 receiving yards? -

We were never relevant with Holmcomb as our QB. My guess is you're refering to the year with Tim Couch behind center and we made the playoffs. All I have to say, when was the last time you won a playoff game? Hint it hasn't happened with Palmer/OchoCinco on your team. Browns have 8 championships, Bungals have none. Nice FAIL idiot. -

Actually, Holcomb took Cleveland to the playoffs. -

Much like the Bengals were irrelevant until just a few years ago, now the bandwagon has waiting list. At least us Browns fans have stuck by our team through the downtimes. You could find VERY few "fans" to claim the Bengals through their futility. Glass houses!!jordo212000;506850 wrote:I wished you would have called me.
