All I have to say, when was the last time you won a playoff game? Hint it hasn't happened with Palmer/OchoCinco on your team. Browns have 8 championships, Bungals have none. Nice FAIL.
fail fail fail, we have found the capone of browns fans -

Tim Couch played most of that season. He got hurt in the final game vs the Falcons (playoff clinching game). Thus the reason why Holcomb played in the playoffs. So i wouldn't necessarily say Holcomb led the the browns to the playoffs. -

ACTUALLY he didn't. -

+1. Ocho and Kroger had to buy tickets last year to prevent their games from being blacked out. They are easily amongst the worst group of fans in the NFL.
Also, If i recall correctly, I had plenty cincy fans talk shit when the Browns missed the playoffs in 07', and I had the very few cincy fans around talk shit to me when the Browns lost their playoff game vs the steelers 8 years ago. Pot meet kettle. Go cry somewhere else Jordo. -

Bengals fans really are the worst...so many bandwagon douchebags -

You mean to tell me a team that made the playoffs couldnt sell out their stadium? Now this bengals fan is trying to talk shit to a Browns fan ho has sold out every game since '99? lolfail. -

Oh right, I forgot I go troll on steelers, ravens, bengals threads. Good point idiot.
Edit [yes dynasty I am editing my post] Nice fail on trying to bring up Jim Harbaugh as the next browns HC becuase they were up 21-3 against Oregon and your brother liked the idea. How'd that work out? Maybe we should hire the OC of Oregon now? -

He's a good coach, you are basing his coaching on one game? lol cool dude -
Terry_Tate
jmog, I respect your opinion and know you're a very intelligent guy, but I just don't see how they compare at all. Ndukwe could have done a lot worse to Watson(IMO), so the fact he bounced off should help the case that he had no ill will. TJ Ward intentionally hammered Shipley while rising up to his head/upper shoulder region and had a clear helmet to helmet hit(I know that's not necessarily the rule and he wasn't leading with his helmet). I know he wanted to make a tough hit, he just went too far IMO. It's all subjective so there's no point in going back and forth though, so I'll just end with good luck to the Browns.jmog;506782 wrote:1. Defenseless receiver rule has ZERO to do with whether or not the receiver has caught the ball. Look up the rule. FYI, I think in a contact sport like football, neither of them should have been called, they weren't helmet/helmet and weren't really going after the head.
2. You can tell that the CIN defender had "no ill will" but the CLE defender did? Wow, really? You are a mind reader?
3. The CIN defender's didn't look "as bad" because you had a DB who was smaller than Watson, in Ward's case he was much bigger than Shipley, so the hit looked more "vicious". The CIN DB semi bounced off Watson. -
Terry_Tatebigdaddy2003;506749 wrote:Yeah, and don't forget the Ray Lewis tripping call. That was bogus also.
You won't hear an argument from me! I didn't think it was as ridiculous as the sack but definitely didn't think it was a penalty. -
Y-Town SteelhoundTJ Ward's hit on Shipley was a clean, hard hit. Ward's momentum was carrying him forward and the ball had just arrived. Had Shipley gotten his hands on the ball, Ward's hit would've jarred it loose and saved a touchdown...it was a great defensive play. There was no helmet-to-helmet, and he lead with his SHOULDER. I think some of you need to watch the replay.
The Bengals got an absolute gift with that call that almost cost the Browns the game. GM got a smaller bailout.
Jack Tatum was dishing out hits like that long before Ward was born. It was called defense back then. The pussification of football over the last 15 or so years has been astounding. I know you're trying to protect the players but if they can't take the heat they should stay out of the kitchen. -
Art ModellLOL Watching Bungal and Clown fans arguing is like watching Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles in a fistfight. hahahaaaaa

You have seen Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles fist fight? Nice job dumbass. -

While I'm not a fan of the pussification to football, it was clearly a helmet to helmet hit -

Clearly? He's clearly leading with his shoulder and made contact with the upper part of his chest. He got some helmet, but it wasn't helmet to helmet and he clearly didn't lead with his helmet. -
killer_ewokPretty sure that you can't use your shoulder to drill an opposing player in the head either. Therefore, it doesn't need to be helmet-to-helmet to warrant a penalty. Shoulder to helmet=penalty.

I've been a fan the whole time. Sure, there are bandwagon fans in Cincy, just like there are bandwagon fans in Cleveland. I can assure that when the Browns start winning again merchandise sales will go up. With that being said, I never called the Browns fanbase out. They are among the best fans in the league.
My point was that Commander was wetting his pants over one win while the Bengals have been routinely beating everybody in the AFC North recently. He had been ignoring all the losses to the Bengals as of late and instead wanted to point to one win in October. -
royal_kGreat hit...I loved it. I hope we see many more from TJ.

The great Cleveland fan''BR1956FB'' does the same thing with the Clowns victory over the Steelers last year. I guess when you're part of a loser fanbase, you'll jump on anything. -
killer_ewokChris Mortensen just said that Ward will likely be fined by the league.

Sure non of your idiot trolling had anything to do with it.
LMAO at jordo trying to use merchandise sales as an excuse. -

I guess I will have to take your word for it even though cold hard sales figures tend to disagree. The Browns aren't in the top 10... guess who generally make up the top 10? Good teams. The Browns have a great group of fans, however they also have plenty of bandwagon fans just like any other city.
