Who is the best player not in the HOF?
-
THE4RINGZGot this idea from NFL on Twitter.
Regardless of sport who is the best player not elected to their sport's hall of fame? -

+1 ... /thread. How can the all-time hits leader NOT be in his sport's HOF? -
Skyhook79I would add to the thread Title the word eligible between "best" and "player"
For NBA I would say Artis Gilmore.
For MLB its Burt Blyleven.
For NFL its Ken Stabler or Chris Carter. -
THE4RINGZYeah the lifetime ban sucks and Selig doesn't have the balls to overturn it. But overall I think the baseball HOF ridiculous with their nomination process.
-
justincredibleSince Pete is out because he's not allowed in, and his has nothing to do with his stats, I'd say Bert Blyleven or Jack Morris are the best not in Cooperstown.
-
like_thatMLB - Pete Rose
NFL - Ricky Waters/ Cris Carter
Can't think of any for the NBA. Seems like the basketball HOF is the easiest to get in out of the 3. -
HitsRusobviously a shill thread for Rose....it was about due time for some Cinci fan to ask the perennial question. That it would be Rose is pretty obvious. But most importantly, there is a very good reason he's not in...and it should serve as a lesson and precedent for those who think they can break the rules and not have to pay the punishment.
I would like to see Rose inducted...posthumously. -

Except I am an Indians fan. My intention was not to create a shill thread for Pete Rose. As I mentioned I saw something similar on Twitter about the NFL and decided to run it past the OC faithful.obviously a shill thread for Rose....it was about due time for some Cinci fan to ask the perennial question. Haha. Yes, kidding. Everyone was posting the exact same thing and the thread was going nowhere. I guess I'm no good at showing sarcasm.Laley23;442676 wrote:Kidding right?
