I think Chicago wins games 1, 4, 5, and 7 to win it all in seven games.

Lets just say NBC won't be broadcasting from Philly at all.
  • THE4RINGZ
    I'll go with the Blackhawks.

    Yeah, there won't be :)

Hawks in 5 as well. Flyers luck runs out against the much more talented and deeper Hawks and the NHL cries with the lack of star power and interest in this series.
  • Azubuike24
Lack of star power cries yet the Blackhawks are in the series. It seems those people don't really know hockey. The Hawks are about as exciting and star-studded as it gets...they just aren't household names quite yet.
  • gorocks99
^^ Totally agree. But, there's no Sid or Ovi, so there's no star power. Those are the two biggest chips the NHL has to play with. If the Hawks can win their first cup in almost 50 years though, the Chicago market will help propel the names of Toews and Kane onto a closer ledge to those top two.

That's Bettman's sorry ass fault for putting every ounce of marketability into Cindy.

    Philly in 7.
  • gorocks99
Of course it is. Dude has tried his hardest to make Ovi-Crosby similar to Lebron-Kobe, but has totally ignored the D-Wade's, KG's, and Dwight Howard's of his league.

This series is going to help out with the US born players get some coverage for once. IE, Patrick Kane and James vanRiemsdyk who went 1 and 2 in the 2007 draft.
  • Laley23
Ill be pulling for the Flyers, but laying the doe on the Hawks.
  • ptown_trojans_1
    Hawks in 5, 6 max.

I think Pronger and the Flyers defense is good enough to win 1 or 2 games, but that it is.
BTW, my friend who is a Ducks fan hates the fact that now the Ducks pick at least 29 in the draft due to the Pronger trade.
  • gibby08
    Blackhawks in 4
  • slingshot4ever
I hope my Blackhawks can win it this year after the disspointing Cavs playoffs I had to deal with.
  • yobro08
patty kane, toews, hossa... seems like stars to me

Like anyone knows those guys like they know the stars in other sports. Maybe if Bettman was going to put all the cash into the Crosby marketing campaign he could've fixed it up a little better this year. lord knows he went out of his way last year.

Now he's stuck w/ a bunch of great players in the finals that no one (casual fans) knows.

What a dumb fuck. Makes sense that an idiot like that would put all of his eggs into the basket of a girl who doesn't show up in the postseason.

    Flyers in 7.
  • KnightXC1
It's not that Toews, Kane, Hossa, Pronger and others aren't great players because they are, it's simply they are not well known outside of hockey circles. NHL would kill for Ovi, Crosby, a Canadian team, the Red Wings, or Rangers to be playing for the Cup simply because of either the player, team, or market. Chicago is an Original 6 team but they seem to be in bottom half of those 6 teams when it comes to tradition, winning, and coverage. Seems like the Rangers, Wings, Leafs, and Canadiens get much more press than the Hawks do and not justifiably so. Hawks will make a lot of names for themselves in this series but sadly not many casual fans will watch it. Hell NHL would have loved if Buffalo had made it simply because of Ryan Miller and how his name got out during the Olympics. Ratings will likely be bad which is sad but Bettman doomed it himself.

Have to root for Chicago in this finals, the thought of Philly hoisting the Stanley Cup makes me want to vomit.

Hossa is the lesser of two evils in this case and besides, we got even with him head to head last year.;)
