Ohio Cup, Game 1: Redlegs vs. Tribe
-
hoops23Choo is a great player, like I said earlier, he's definitely the most underrated player in baseball.
5 tool guy who has good power, a good batting eye and an absolute cannon from the OF.. He's also got speed on the base paths.
Somethings that he still needs to work on though is taking the right angles in the OF and being smarter on the base paths. -
BRFThe Glittering Wahoo is gathering dust.....again.

Cabrera has been a godsend, but give me Votto as team MVPkilldeer wrote: O'Cab is the early season MVP for the ol' Redlegs. -
BRFHafner has a 9 game hitting streak?!
Go Tribe! -
wildcats20Anyone have a radio link or anything for the game tonight?/
-
RotinajThis ump is giving Cueto absolutely NOTHING.
-
rentilreboWhy isnt this game on TV?
-
RotinajNix has been an absolute stud lately.
-
hoops23Man we suck.
It's ok, the Reds will join us later in the year like they always do.
By the way, when was the last winning season in Cincy? -
jordo212000
I'm not so sure about that. In years past the Reds didn't have the pitching to win consistently. The staff was assembled with duct tape and glue, but now the Reds have a very solid pitching staff that from top to bottom is better than anybody else's in the NL central.hoops23 wrote: Man we suck.

Sure, the Cardinals will probably win the division, but I think it is a mistake to discount the Reds. -

I don't fully understand it, but it is awesomeRotinaj wrote: Nix has been an absolute stud lately. -
hoops23Don't the Reds usually look good early though? All I know is they're good for some great 2nd half collapses.
-
wildcats20We have the pitching this year to compete with the Cards, unlike years past.
-
newarkcatholicfanIndians looking as bad as ever so far today.[/align]
-
Azubuike24The NL Central is very winnable. The Reds have shown they can hang with the Cards, and beat them often times.
Unlike past Reds' teams though, this team has the pitching to hang in. Give me that over great hitting any day. This team has also been clutch too, which can overcome some offensive deficiencies.
Cueto looks great lately too. He's been money for the last month or so. Over his past 26 innings, he's allowed only 6 ER and has 29 K's and 4 BB's over that time. That's flat out domination. -
wildcats20Tonight thus far, Cueto: 5.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 SO, 1 BB
-
wildcats20After consecutive strike outs, Cueto gives up a homer to Hafner scoring 2.
5-2 -
wildcats20BP leads off the 7th with a double to "deep center," according to ESPN GameCast.
-
wildcats20BTW with a win tonight, the Reds again move atop the Central standings with the Cards' loss earlier today.
-
wildcats20BP went to third on a ground out by Votto. Rolen walked. Brucey drove in BP with a single and Rolen moved to 3rd.
6-2
Then Gomes grounded into a double play, stranding Rolen at third. -
Azubuike24Quality work by Masset. Reds appear to be headed toward another W.
-
wildcats20Danny Ray got the first 2, nice to see after struggling pretty bad the last time I saw him.
-
wildcats20Brucey just finished a 4-4 night with 2 RBI.
-
wildcats20What the hell is CoCo doing?? Bases loaded....dear God
-
brutus161What good is a closer that can't fucking close games!???!
