About LeBron supposedly not playing well in the playoffs...
-
SQ_CraziesI'm already sick of a few certain dumbass people around here for saying that LeBron didn't play well in the playoffs, or that now the debate is back open for who the best player is (after it was closed pretty much all season)..absolutely sick of it. You guys are such prisoners of the moment and can't pay attention to what REALLY relates to what you're talking about. So this is my way of providing charity to you and spelling it out as if you were 4 fucking years old:
27 PPG (9/19 FG, 1/4 3's, 9/12 FT), 9 boards, 7 assists, 2 steals, 1 block.
That's LeBron's average stat line for the series. And wait, there is more.
14 PPG (5/14 FG, 1/4 3's, 2.5/3 FT), 5 boards, 4 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks.
That's the guy he guarded.
And for reference, so far against the Magic, Pierce has outdone his BEST effort against the Cavs BOTH times. His best effort against the Cavs was during LeBron's game 5 letdown. And he still needed 21 shots to get 21 points.
So we're going to question a guy's talent because his TEAM didn't win when he puts up an average stat line that 99% of the players that have EVER played in the NBA would kill for. And that includes what might be his worst career game, his numbers were still that good.
Let us not forget that the guy also attracts more defensive attention than Dwight Howard. Yet he STILL does that. Let us not forget that while he gets torn apart for game 5, Kobe REFUSED TO SHOOT and allowed his team to get knocked out of the playoffs. But everyone wants to talk about "look what Kobe is doing now". Look what Kobe did when his roster was a joke. Conveniently decides to go back to being the Black Mamba after they get Gasol. Name an A player that LeBron has played with--you can't, the closest is Jamison and he had less than half a season to fit in.
Bottom line, I have no problem with LeBron taking the heat in a losing situation when he gets all the praise in a win (although he OFTEN deflects the praise onto his teammates in those situations), but it's getting out of hand. Never in my life have a seen such an overreaction based on a handful of games about a 25 year old athlete. Some want to even go as far as saying that his legacy is forever tarnished and he may never recover from it. Yet NO ONE seems to want to remember Kobe's charades. And all Kobe did was simply voluntarily quit on his team. But no one wants to remember that...
Let's give the kid a chance to fill his legacy before we go the way of ESPN and try to write it while it's still going. -
Trueblue23Yea but they lost, so NONE of that shit really matters.

SQ_CraziesI'm providing some lost souls with some knowledge is what I'm doing.
Who would think that the bar would ever be set soon high that LeBron could average that line and have "played poorly"? What a joke.
