SQ_CraziesThen you're a fool, that's all there is to it. But lucky for you it isn't illegal to be a fool.

SQ_CraziesLOL...was that worse than you saying "the entire playoffs" regarding LeBron? You were kidding right?
Man, I can't believe how far off the level of discussion has fallen off on this site. Some of you are honestly just flat out stupid, no offense but there is no other way to say it. Some of you need to take the ESPN cock out of your mouth, ass, wherever you like it and come up with some real knowledge of the league and the game itself. I'm starting to lose my mind having to subject myself to discussions where at least half the people have half a brain. Differing opinions don't bother me, but pure, flat out STUPIDITY is starting to get incredibly annoying. -

RE: NBA may not allow Z to return to Cleveland.
Won't happen. People are just literally in a panic about how good the Cavs will be when he comes back. That throws a wrench into so many teams plans for the offseason and shit like that. If they win a title and LeBron resigns and they're still in good financial position--and still have a great team next year--other franchises in the league could be looking at a 6-7 year dynasty. They want that in their cities, not Cleveland.
Is it dumber than the person who said this??? -
SQ_CraziesWhat was stupid about that?

You've outdone that one plenty of times.SQ_Crazies wrote: What was stupid about that? -

RE: Boston Celtics are..
A LOT of people made huge assumptions about this team, my thoughts were more a long the lines of wait and see with them--but I sort of expected what's happening to them now. They're still a good team, but they aren't a contender. And let me say it more clearly, they aren't a contender this year when healthy. If you think they can match up with the Cavs or Magic (or hell, even the Hawks) you're stretching for some hope at this point.
Still blows my mind how many people are picking them to win the East, some the title.
and your lecturing us? HaHa -
SQ_CraziesHahaha, how many times have I admitted that I was wrong about the Celtics?
Yawn.. -
devil1197Don't be surprised to see Delonte West traded before July 1st.
His contract could give immediate cap relief to teams looking for more cap room or to avoid the luxury tax.
Cleveland made the Shaq trade before FA started last season. -
devil1197With West's contract, the max we can take is 5.3 million so it would be a savings of 4.8 million for a team if it went that high.
That's a pretty good chunck of money for a team that is looking to add more cap space, basically a MLE. -
devil1197As stated in the BW article posted about Gilbert.
The Cavs will be talking once again to Philly about a trade that would include Iggy. With Philly getting the #2 selection and possibly taking Turner, it seems like AI could be moved.
While he is not the best shooter, it may time to add great athletic ability that can fill the stat sheet rather than spot up shooters. -
SQ_CraziesDon't like the Iggy idea. I feel as if he is just another unreliable #2 in disguise. Although, with Jamison there, if a coach can utilize him correctly, I suppose Iggy could be a good fit. Still feel like the spot up shooters are huge for the Cavs with the way LeBron plays though.
Who knows though, it kind of gets old to talk about after so long. Just have to sit back and see what happens, there are countless possibilities out there--and considering the season hasn't ended yet, we probably aren't even aware of half of them. -
hoops23I expect Cleveland to make a big splash in the trade department BEFORE FA starts. Remember, Cleveland will want to show LeBron RIGHT AWAY why he should stay.
-
jpake1I really think they'll try hard. But I think LBJ may take his time, see what other moves everybody makes. It could force the FO to make a big move without his commitment. Although a big move might really help. It could also delay a move from them without his commitment. A few different ways it could unfold.

Think there is any truth to the rumors that Philly is shopping the number 2 pick and Brand? I know Philly likes their young forwards (Speights and Young) and they are desperately looking to get Brand and his contract out of town. -
thedynasty1998Iguadola is better than anyone Lebron has played with to-date, so I think it could be a good move, but he does scare me.
The #2 pick and Brand talks are pretty interesting. I wonder if there is truth to it, and if anyone covets Turner enough to move up? -
j_crazyI'd like to see the cavs get a reddick or someone like that.
a guy who can nail his free throws, plays good system defense, and can spot up and consistently make shots.
i think the cavs need to get a new back court and add a PF who can bang.
the fact remains that Cleveland has no picks in the draft so if they lose LBJ, there is no young stud to come in and rebuild around. which means they will have a lot of old, decrepit, bad contract players on the team for the next year. this is why i hate hedging everything on keeping one player, but i completely understand you have to do it in this case. -
krazie45The thing with the draft is that if the Cavs really wanted a pick, I'm sure they'd be able to trade for/buy one
-
SQ_CraziesI think the Bulls are fucked on signing a big name. D-Wade didn't have anything good to say about them today, he was questioning the franchises loyalty. And I found it interesting that just now on ESPN they were talking about how LeBron, D-Wade and Joe Johnson are going to be talking together about what they're going to do...

I think JJ Redick would be a great fit for the Cavs and he's the type of player that could improve the team without costing too much.
As for the PF, the Cavs are stuck with Jamison. I don't care what people say, I don't see them moving him, because I don't see anyone wanting to take on that contract. They obviously need to find a center because Varejao isn't going to get it done over the course of an entire season, and that gives you two tweeners at the 4 and 5.
As for the draft, I think that's something Lebron has to consider. The Cavs can't really go out and make a move to dramatically improve their team. He is either content with what they have and is committed to that type of roster for 3 years, or he looks for a fresh start on a team with potential. -

So now you buy into the ESPN crap? You can't have it both ways.SQ_Crazies wrote: I think the Bulls are fucked on signing a big name. SQ_CraziesWTF are you talking about? I'm buying into what the players were saying. LMFAO
Seriously dude, get over trying to slam me because you guys fail every time--what I said about ESPN wasn't that they are worthless. I said that you have to know how to separate the news from the BS and A LOT of people don't know how to do that. -
devil1197Yes, the Cavs can go out and make a move to dramatically improve their roster. They have almost 30 million in expiring contracts they could use, picks, young talent, and cash. A sign and trade or just straight trade will be done to improve the roster.
The Cavs will have an opportunity to buy into the draft this year and I really do think they will since they don't have a 1st or 2nd right now.
Teams like Memphis (3 picks), Minnesota (3 picks), OKC (2 picks) could all be potential options. OKC sooner or later is going to need to add veteran talent to that young roster, taking on two more rookies won't do that. -
NateI've said this for months (before the Jamison deal), the Cavs need a shooting guard. If they don't get an adequate SG, they will still be in the same situation with Lebron. Without Lebron, they are just plain fucked IMO.
-
devil1197I think the Brand and #2 pick is true, but Cleveland would have to get a mid first rounder (possibly Memphis or Minnesota) and trade that to Philly as they would still want a 1st rounder imo.
