    No, no its not.

Its all on guys like Mo Williams and the bench tonight.

We cannot have our two guards (West/Williams) go a combined 3 of 16 from the field.

We also cannot have only 11 points from our bench either.
I agree with that, but it's on Lebron to make sure that doesn't happen. He's the leader of this team and is the best player in the league, he needs to carry the team like he did in game 3, and not pass up shots for himself to pass to Varejao for jumpers.

LeBron can't make his teammates make shots.

LeBron will get his as usual...what matters is others getting theirs. If LeBron comes out on fire like game 3 it takes off so much pressure on others they're able to convert, but to say it's all on LBJ is...well...stupid. He's done his part and will continue to do so. Mo, Parker (has done fine) Jamison, and Shaq need to play more consistently.
  • SQ_Crazies
The bottom line is, LeBron needs to come out of the gate and do his thing and not worry about his teammates.

His teammates bring the noise when LeBron is having a good game. They feed off of him. But like I said, it's on them to make shots--not him.

It was ONE, count it ONE Varejao jumper and that is it in Game 4.

He cannot force his teammates to make shots, no player can. He isn't god. The only thing he can do is dominate the first quarter and hope that the team carries the momentum.

Williams need to fucking man up and start playing basketball.

Jamison, Shaq, and Parker have been good. I don't have too many complaints, they have been consistent.

    Agreed.

When Mo has played well in this series it's because he was aggressive. I think he THINKS about what his new role is supposed to be to much and doesn't just play his game.

The good thing is that he is now the #3 option but if he isn't making FG's then he is worthless with his defensive skills against Rondo.

I am not too worried about tonight, we did what we needed to do in Boston and that was win 1 game to regain HC advantage.
  • ytownfootball
Mo just needs to drive and lay it up, the open looks come after he does that consistently, not the other way around.
  • ytownfootball
..and I don't really care much about Rondo getting jumpers, just not 16 assists and 18 fucking boards.

This is what I was trying to say. Lebron can't let the game come to him or be passive or not have a sense of urgency, he needs to come out of the gate and bring it.

If he wants to ever be considered one of the greatest of all time (which he does), he needs to bring it every single game in the playoffs. As the best player on the team, others play off of him.

Tonight should be the night that LeBron guards Rondo.

I'd rather have Pierce go for 20+ against Parker or another guy over Rondo getting 20+ points with another 30+ points coming from other guys getting assisted by Rondo.

I trust Parker guarding Pierce more than I do Parker and Mo guarding Rondo.

He can do more than dominate the first quarter.

He can, he did it against Orlando but somewhere down the line guys like Mo are needed to win the series.

LeBron put up crazy numbers against Orlando only to lose the series.
  • Rotinaj
I think Parker comes out hot and hits a couple 3's in the first quarter to fire the team up.Shaq and Hickson will have good nights and Lebron will be great(35-10-10) and sadly i think Mo will not show up once again(im just gonna keep saying this until he proves me wrong) Cavs win 99-97 in OT.
  • sleeper
Lebron needs 50 + points, I really don't care if he has 0 assists and 0 rebounds. He gets 50, Cavs win.

Boston isn't as good as Orlando.

    cavs are in big trouble.
  • gibby08
I think it's a huge mistake for Lebron to guard Rondo..

Because it takes him off Pierce and IMO the only reason Pierce is having a bad series is because of Lebron guarding him
  • jpake1
That would be a dagger if LBJ focuses on Rondo and Pierce has himself a clutch performance to lead them to a victory.
  • Sage
    PAUL PIERCE SUCKS.

Even if he "goes off" he's not doing 60% of the damage Rondo did to the Cavs the other night.
  • wes_mantooth
Mo Williams and Parker just need to man up and do their fuckin jobs....let LBJ guard Pierce or just float around when Pierce is out of the game.
  • j_crazy
pierce isn't as athletic as rondo.

    LBJ guarding Rondo
    Mo guarding R. Allen
    Parker guarding Pierce

    i think that would work.

    this game is crucial though.

Ehhh, I dont know about these defensive changes.

People forget we still have homecourt advantage, I see no reason we can't take 2 of 3 from Boston playing the way we have. Yes, they do need to make adjustments on Rondo, and if they can't do that by mid 2nd quarter tonight, THEN I would put Lebron on him to slow em down. But no need to panic, just yet.
  • gorocks99
I just don't know what to expect tonight. Honestly. If both teams show up I think it can be a good one, but when one of the teams completely fails (games 2 and 3) it's a real bore to watch. Hoping both teams show up b/c this is such an important game, but I have a sinking feeling that the C's won't get it going until the 2nd quarter when they're already down 15, and they may not have enough in the tank to close the gap from there.

Prove me wrong, C's, prove me wrong.
