Jeremy Shockey goes off on LeBron
-
LJlol, LeBron is not a 4.9 40
And Shockey is washed up -
thedynasty1998He has his opinion, I have mine. Lebron would be one of the top 10 WR's, or TE's, or DE's or Safetys in the NFL tomorrow.
-
NateI would put money on it that Lebron would have better numbers than Shockey.
-
derek bomarLeBron > Shockey

Hb31187Wonder if Randy Moss came out and said. Man if i dedicated myself to Basketball id be a beast blah blah blah how much heat hed catch. I mean after all he was an all state player in HS, so it must mean he could play at the professional level
-
royal_kI think Shockey is a wee bit jealous.

Moss doesn't have the body (no-homo) to be an NBA player...Lebron on the other hand, does have the premier body structure to play in the NFL...wee bit different there in your comparison.Hb31187 wrote: Wonder if Randy Moss came out and said. Hb31187doesnt have the body type? Lol you realize how many tall lanky athletes there are in the NBA ?
And for the record hes 6'4 210lbs...would you like a list of NBA players that size? -

You don't have to be big to play in the NBA. Ever heard of Allen Iverson or Kevin Durant?SportsAndLadies wrote:

LJlol, Moss is probably stronger than a lot of NBA players
-
thedynasty1998Yea, the body comment wasn't real intelligent.
There is no doubt that there are probably a few NFL players who could have played in the NBA if they would have chosen. However, I think there are a lot more NBA guys who could have played in the NFL if they had chosen. -
burt07Yawn. In the words of Wale, "I remain a giant and you Jeremy Shockey."
-
jordo212000SI is really milking this. Since when did saying "ESPN is crazy to even think he could even make a practice squad. He;s a 4.9 40 time." equate to going off on somebody?

Haha I was about to post the same thing!burt07 wrote: Yawn. In the words of Wale, "I remain a giant and you Jeremy Shockey." -
SQ_CraziesLOL he couldn't make a practice squad?!?! Alex Boone made a practice squad.
And a 4.9 40?!! What's Shockey run? I'd guess somewhere between 4.6 and 4.7, probably more like 4.9 with pads on. I'd love to see him try to line up and race LeBron in a 40. LeBron would run 4.3's--how could he not? He's one of the fastest guys in the NBA baseline to baseline, he's 6'8 so his strides are huge. LOL, I'll never forget this. 4.9 40...HA!! Easily the most entertaining thing I've read all day! -

Did you clean yourself off after writing that?SQ_Crazies wrote: LOL he couldn't make a practice squad?!?! Alex Boone made a practice squad.

My statement came off wrong, I mis-worded it.Hb31187 wrote: doesnt have the body type? Lol you realize how many tall lanky athletes there are in the NBA ?

I meant to say that Lebron has MORE than a good body structure for an NFL player..Moss would just be an average body structured player in the NBA. -
bo shemmy3337Lebron could play in the NFL IMO but he would not be as good as many think from day one. He would not come close to a 4.3 40. No on his size could ever run a 4.3 40 IMO. he would be around 4.6 or so. He is a freak of nature and would be a hell of a tight end and would block every field goal lol. Give him a year or two and he would loose 30 lbs and would be running 4.5 4.4 and would be owning the game at WR or TE.
-
Skyhook79I guess Bolt would be unstoppable if he played in the NFL too??????

Strapping Young Lad
AHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!! WTF are you talkin' about.......SportsAndLadies wrote:

Oh its S&L.....I'm not so surprised by this stupid comment now!!! -
Strapping Young LadLebron might be able to suit up but he wouldn't be able to take the hits..... Tight End, pshhh.
-
SQ_CraziesUm, no. Bolt is a runner, not a pure athlete like LeBron. He could be good, he's got good size and clearly he could blow by anyone in the league but I doubt it--talk about not being able to take hits. LeBron at least plays in a sport that is a contact, physical sport. And saying that shows a lot about you, it's just pure hatred for LeBron--that's the only reason. Jealousy is a funny thing.
And I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks LeBron wouldn't run under a 4.45 40 needs to check themselves into a mental institution. I bet he ran a 4.6 when he was a junior in high school. No one his size could ever run a 4.3? No one his size has ever been built like him. And I said 4.3's, I hope you didn't mean I meant 4.30. I don't think he could run a 4.3 flat, but I think he could break into the 3's.
