Hopefully he doesn't think he's worth late 1st/early 2nd round money still come contract time! Holdout would be bad.SQ_Crazies wrote:

rydawg5They just pulled Colt off the dollar menu.

IggyPride00Gruden seems to like McCoy. Maybe if Mangini gets shit canned after this year Holmgren can bring him out of the booth to coach him.
-
RedBlackAttackI'm happy with the Browns' draft thus far. We may have gotten three immediate starters with our first three picks. Now, we get the guy that I thought coming in was the 2nd best QB in the draft... And we got him midway through the third round.
Good stuff.
Next pick is going to be an OT. -
77LegendI think all of the AFC North has drafted good except for the Steelers....

Gruden loves everyone, especially the QBs.IggyPride00 wrote: Gruden seems to like McCoy. Maybe if Mangini gets shit canned after this year Holmgren can bring him out of the booth to coach him. -

The Steelers had a few glaring holes that they've had to fill. Center and thanks to trading Holmes, they had to get a WR.77Legend wrote: I think all of the AFC North has drafted good except for the Steelers....
I hope they're horrible players, but they did draft for need. Something the Browns have done too much in the past. -
ts1227Taylor Price drafted!
Unfortunately to the fucking Pats, but oh well. -
IggyPride00Would love everson griffin. Lots of value at this point.

MulvaShawn Lauvao. Another guy who would have been available in round 4 or even 5.
I don't mind getting the depth on the O-line, but I would have taken a gamble on Bruce Campbell this late. Pashos sucks and there's no denying Campbell's potential. -
BigAppleBuckeyeWhy, oh why Gibson, did you leave OSU? Would have loved to have him back next year, instead this kid is praying to be an NFL 3rd rounder ... bummer. I wish him well.

Hb31187Did gibson do terrible at the combine? Or whyd he drop so far?

Al Capone
Maybe they should ask Cleveland for advice, since they are experts.:huh::huh:77Legend wrote: I think all of the AFC North has drafted good except for the Steelers.... -

And you have the stones to rip on the Browns draft when one of your own is saying your draft stinks. LOLAl Capone wrote:

You know you're a piece of trash, dumbass troll when you quote another Steelers fan's criticisms to talk shit against the Browns. -
BR1986FBDamn Patriots...two 1st's and three 2nd's in next years draft already? Did I hear that right?

77LegendNo Marty Gilyard from Cincy yet? Was it character issues with him also?

77LegendMarty Gilyard from Cincy to the Rams! Good pick

IggyPride00Everson Griffin is a great pick for the Vikings as he is a first round talent at defensive end with questions about lazyness and motivation.
Jared Allen will beat his ass if he brings the weak stuff or tries to be lazy. -
Little Danny
I read somewhere earlier this week that Mardy's past was at issue with some teams. He admitted to selling weed in high school and he got into a little trouble in school. If you recall, his grades weren't cutting it at UC after his first year and Dantonio kicked him off the team. When Kelly became coach, he let Gilyard come back.77Legend wrote: No Marty Gilyard from Cincy yet? Was it character issues with him also?
Frankly, I think Mardy has overcome a lot and is an example of a guy who has matured as he has gotten older. He came to Cincinnati because his mother wanted him to get far away from the crew he ran with in Florida. After he got kicked off the team, he still went to school, worked sometimes two jobs at a time and at times, slept in his car. He became the leader of his team and often carried them on his back (see the Pitt game last year). Gilyard never had any off the field issues during his run at UC. On the field he has a good work ethic and off the field he has really turned his life around.
I think the Rams got themselves a good deal here. Looking forward to seeing Bradford connecting to Gilyard for years to come!
