If you were Mike Holmgren with the 7th pick

Not sure if it means anything, but St Louis has scheduled a workout with Colt McCoy.

I just read that Tebow visited Cleveland. I have said all along that the Browns would take him if he was there at 38. By releasing pretty much every QB on the roster the have told whoever they draft at that position that it is their job for a long time. There wont be a whole lot of expectations on him in Cleveland after what they have been through at that position in the last year or so. I also think Cleveland is so hard up for some wins right now that they may be a team willing to adapt an offense that suits Tebows skill set the most.

Holmgren and company have spent alot of time with Tim.

You DO realize that they have spoken with/met with just about EVERY QB in this draft so bringing in Tebow is no surprise. They will also bring in McCoy in about a week. It's ALL part of the smokescreen/due diligence.

I do know that Holmgren is investing quite a bit of time and information on Tebow.

Will they draft him? Im not sure

But they are putting in alot of time on him.

Holmgren has had dinner with Tebow twice. Word is Timmy doesn't give it up on the first date. ;)

^^ CLE isn't drafting Tebow...Whoever takes him in the late first round is crazy and deserves to have a bad draft/season. He is not worth being taken that high. McCoy is a much better QB than Tebow and if he is there for when the Browns are up with their 2nd pick...Colt McCoy will be a Brown, not Tim Tebow.

Definitely agree. I sent a story to quite a few on here (via pm) with a quote from one of the NFL scouts/snalysts saying that "Team Tebow" (his media blitz propaganda machine) is doing "everything in their power to get him drafted in the top of the first round." This scout also said "they just might do it and that would be an "expletive" shame because he's not a 1st round talent." The scout said he was a late 2nd/early 3rd rounder.

I, along with many others, feel that Colt McCoy is best suited to what the Browns will eventually be looking to do (short, ball control passing game with a very accurate QB).

Good luck finding someone who CAN do it.
    I accept that challenge. :D

Just be gentle with the face, it's my money maker.
When you said that, I instantly thought of Wild Hogs. The scene where Willam H. Macy is tied up and the biker gang threatens to break his legs if the others don't give up. Macy just says that he doesnt need his legs, he's a computer programmer and then they just threaten to break his arms and he begs his friends to give up. Literally made me laugh out loud....

My whole thing with the Browns drafting Tebow is centered around the fact that they are so bad that they could risk a gamble on him and if it doesnt work...its just the Browns. They can try again in a couple years.

I don't think Holmgren is about that though...

So Holmgren would take a risky QB prospect like Tebow over McCoy? I'm not buying that...McCoy makes much more sense at that pick. If Tebow is there in the 3rd or later, then CLE would possibly take him and I wouldn't be too upset then.
