    second bogey for Tiger

    drops to -6

I think he's pushing too hard. He needs to just play par golf at least until he gets in a groove and hope those guys fall back or you make something happen on the holes you know you can. He should have aimed for like a 69 and see what happens...playing like he's aiming for a 62.
  • SQ_Crazies
No. For everybody. I like watching too, and I won't regret watching if he doesn't win. But it's definitely more exciting for everyone when Tiger is playing well.
  • SQ_Crazies
I mean, unless you're content with watching OK golf. No doubt that when Tiger plays well the competition is never higher--he pushes everyone else to play lights out to beat him.

There are very few fans that don't want to watch Tiger.

And it's because they're haters. That's it, that's the only way you don't like to watch Tiger.

There is absolutely no argument against golf being at it's highest level when Tiger is playing his best.

We're going to start seeing the famous Tiger temper if he keeps playing like he is right now.

    Choi rock solid start

    four pars and a birdie

I doubt it, a toned down version MAYBE. No doubt he's aware of people calling him out for swearing yesterday.

Yep. He's playing the round that Tiger should be playing. Par golf. Tiger is trying to go Tiger right now and it's not working. This course has killed guys that didn't just take what they had all weekend. Try to push it and it'll screw you.

Phil sucks today. It is right there for the taking with Westwood being wobbly and he is pissing down his leg making a mess of it instead of grabbing this tournament by the throat.

No doubt Tiger is better for ratings but fortunately these are still some big names and fan favorites like Mickelson and Couples and Westwood and Choi are strong players.

At least it's not like Ross Fisher and Nick Watney battling it out.

Should be a pretty exciting finish to this tournament.
  • SQ_Crazies
I agree, I didn't say it wouldn't be exciting. I said it takes some excitement out of the day. Anyone who disagrees with that is seriously nothing more than a Tiger hater. That's a truth, not an opinion.

This is sort of like Jordan coming back for the half of year when the Bulls didn't win the title. After playing baseball.

He wasn't quite his best but still pretty good.

Then the next three years he was back and they won again.

Tiger is not back to the Tiger of old. He'll have to dedicate himself again to being that dominant guy. That will be interesting to see if he will ever be that great again. Chances are he will be.

  • SQ_Crazies

    Tiger to -7

    par 5 at No. 8

But I think he needs to pick up a couple more in these last three holes on the front

-9 going to the back and maybe he has a chance
  • IggyPride00
Phil isn't winning anything today. He is not sharp at all, and is going to kick himself because it is there for the taking.
