  Two of the three would have been a great show. All three? I can't imagine. No matter what their taste, most everyone should have heard (or seen) something they liked that night.

  Yes it was a great time(from what I remember ) That night Kiss ended up torching the ceiling of the venue, ONU's new King Horn center, and pissed the powers to be off pretty good. Don't think they had another concert in the center until 10 yrs later with Pure Prairie League

  Was talking with a buddy of mine who saw Kiss for the first time around April of 1975 at Vets Memorial in Columbus - he said the warm-up act was "The Flock", and they had an electric violinist. Said the crowd was not enthused, and neither was he.
  
  Was checking out some of The Flock's stuff from 1975 - kinda similar to Kansas in their style. Progressive rock-jazz, something like that. Rush and James Gang were definitely more apropos.

  After my original post where I said I could not remember the band who replaced Rush, a friend of mine let me know it was The Flock, so this makes sense. It was a great show in Ada that day. What amazes me..look at the price of tickets in lower corners of poster, unreal

  That is interesting - I had never heard of The Flock before this week. Ditto on the ticket price. I never forgot that my ticket to see KISS five months later was $5.50. Someone who might have gone to both concerts would have said "A 10% increase? Outrageous!".

  Just before the ticket sellers got smarted and made it more "convenient" to charge us more, huh? Ah, for those good old days.
