Police Officer Shootings

IMO, it's fine to pull over a POS car. Especially if that car has something that is a potential inspection violation. No, that isn't an offense you can give a citation for unless it's an expired tag or registration, but it's certainly cause to pull someone over. Same with seeing someone holding their phone.

Put 2 and 2 together. If you pull over every POS vehicle in a poor part of any major city, chances are you find many, many potential offenses you can issue citations for and potentially make arrests. This is EXACTLY what street patrol is for. And while that might sound prejudiced, it isn't. It doesn't differentiate between any given race.

However, it does correlate with criminals. Newsflash. What areas do the most criminals reside and the most criminal activity take place? The same poor economic areas where you will find the POS vehicles you're pulling over.

Is that profiling? If so, it should be a regular practice.

If they spent the weekend marching through the south side of Chicago, maybe lives would be saved in those neighborhoods. They could educate people on how to behave when interacting with police, but that is never done.

“Every societal failure, we put it off on the cops to solve” said Brown. He listed mental health, drug addiction, loose dogs, failing schools as problems the public expects ‘cops to solve.’
“Seventy percent of the African American community is being raised by single women, let’s give it to the cops to solve that as well” said Brown. “Policing was never meant to solve all those problems.”
This does not fit the narrative so it will fall on deaf ears. The guy is probably an Uncle Tom for saying it. Last fall when the Cleveland Police Chief was upset about a few young children that died in a short span by stray gunfire coming from black on black gang violence I read some of the comments under that article and many were viscous towards the Chief.

    Lack of personal responsibility

    Lack of conscience formation

    Lack of respect for authority

    Lack of good dads

Lack of leadership from the first black president

    Sad, sad litany

The sad thing is when cops are left with no other alternative because no one is going to deal with the root causes of the problem they will decrease their patrols and limit confrontation in an effort to avoid negative media attention and meddling by the DOJ. End result: More black people will die, crime will go up, and the media will be silent.

There's already a name for it.

The Browns' running back makes an egregious mistake with his instagram posting. I am glad the Cleveland police chief gave him an ultimatum; it would be quite interesting to see him pull the security from the Browns' games this season.

This is a good idea and I have not heard one politician talk about it.

Black murder Blacks everyday, children killed and wounded in gang violent with known neighborhood felons with illegal weapons in niegborhood aided in government programs and not one black lives matter riot protesting for justice, no Black sniper taking aim on gang members and not one Black politican demanding control of Black felon epidemic...... Why is that?

why is there no White riot, protest and sniper on roof top at the police shooting of white trailer park? why is that?

    Until this question is answered?

Shut the fuck up about gun control.... Sorry

when you can answer why the different between the actions and what is the cause / reasoning .... Guns are not the problem.

the two situation is not about gun control you assholes .. That an agenda not a solution..
You're avoiding the problem and diverting the real issues ...

answer why blacks react and whites don't.....?
Do you think it is a problem that a radical black activist can easily obtain a firearm w/ no accountability whatsoever, minimal hoops, no due diligence or any sort of "know your customer" rules and snipe innocent white cops? Is that what the second amendment guarantees? Is that what George Washington was thinking when he crushed the Whiskey Rebellion and took their guns?

Need a license to hunt deer but not humans in this country. Insanity, but whatever.

I agree. A bank can't just hold up its hands and claim innocence if they let terrorists and criminals finance their operations without any due diligence. IMHO there has to be,more accountability from the industry.

This dishonorably discharged cop killer not only got a gun no questions asked, he got body armor and tactical weapons training on how to shoot on the move.

A whole marketplace setup to be an efficient cop killer and no questions asked.

I see where the President is going to have some special on this with Jamele Hill from ESPN as well? Whitlock busy that night or could have had a tri fecta.....

Isn't Whitlock pretty neutral on race issues, or am I thinking of someone else? Hill is a clown. The fact that Obama is doing a town hall on policing and race is stupid. The stats and research point to there not being a bias in policing, but please let's keep pushing the narrative. Oh and we still don't know all of the facts in either case yet.

Jemelle Smith probably had the orgasm of her life when approached about it. Her and Michael Smith (Whitlock Jr.) are obnoxious.

From what I've read, Whitlock more or less blames black people for their problems in the laziest way possible (ie: you listen to that music and wear your hair like that and what do you expect? sort of stuff). Which is probably why he's a senior member of the HOT TAEK circuit.

I may watch for the lulz. I can't really see Obama and Hill in a room together discussing race issues so I imagine it could be pretty entertaining.

Also facts don't matter. This is a witch hunt and not about justice in either case.

Yea, he also had this brilliant quote "We flood communities with so many guns that it is easier for a teenager to buy a Glock than to get his hands on a computer or even a book." How on earth can a president speak so carelessly, with nothing close to facts, just hyperbole.

    Explains Trump too.

Facts don't matter. People hearing what they want to hear matters.

Maybe I am thinking the wrong guy but there was one that would make everything into race.

Because he is not a president; he is a community activist/agitator.

And at a memorial service. The man has no shame.
