How about starting to address the fact near 70% of black children are living in fatherless homes? Nobody ever wants to address that.

Cops kill criminal over weekend = multiple riots

The last 2 weekends in Chicago have resulted in 99 shot and 24 dead 2 weeks ago, and 43 shot and 9 killed this weekend = not a peep.

It was meant to be a rhetorical question but the honest answer is the political climate doesn't allow for any rational debate on how to fix the ghettos other than to blame ghettos on white people and racism. It's really sad.

I know it was. Just wanted to provide an actual helpful talking point that our political climate chooses to ignore.

"This is a warning cry," Milwaukee Alderman Khalif Rainey said. "Black people of Milwaukee are tired. They are tired of living under this oppression."
Pretty incredible that committing crime, not caring about education and not working is living under oppression. Of course life is going to feel like oppression when you ignore any avenue to better yourself and expect someone else to be responsible for your own poor decisions.

It's also incredible that these people think it's the 1960's and they live in a civil rights era. Actual intelligent blacks that lived during that era are probably laughing at their "oppression".

A lot of people have been left behind or left out of the "recovery". Some blame racism and riot, others latch onto xenophobia and vote for Trump.

It's easier to blame whites and racism rather than to look in the mirror to see the actual problem. The larger issues facing black children in 2016 are fatherless households, black on black crime and placing no value on getting an education, not 'white oppression'.

Now, I do believe that racism still does exist in this country, but it is not limited to black people, hispanics, etc. But, that racism is no where near what it was in the 50's and 60's and can easily be overcome by getting an education and doing the right thing in life...if that is truly what you want.

Yeah can't wait for the "he made everyone smile", "would do anything for anyone", "didn't hurt nobody" hot takes from his family and friends.

So NBC nightly news said about the Milwaukee shooting "...an allegedly armed suspect".

Ummm, ok, technically correct I suppose. But later in the same segment the Milwaukee mayor said he hadn't seen the video, only a still photo "of the suspect pointing a gun".

The segment was mainly around the fact the video hasn't been released. Yeah, THAT'S the story here. Pathetic.

Sylville Smith's sister speaks out.

During the interview with FOX6 News, Smith said she is skeptical of the ongoing investigation, adding that if body camera footage shows her brother holding a gun, she still will not believe the officer was justified in firing his weapon.
No words.

To be fair, it IS the guy's sister. I'd expect her to be defensive and irrational.

When it does show he was holding a gun, we will then transition to the ole "why do they shoot to kill, and not shoot the legs or arms."

The dad came out and blamed himself for not being a great role model.

The sister is just an idiot.

I actually kind of look forward to those lulz

Surprised no one has mentioned the black cop only fired two shots....a white cop would have unloaded the whole clip!
