New guy with a few P90x questions

  • LJ
Ugh. pulled a muscle in my back yesterday. Gonna just rest up today and hopefully be able to pick it up tomorrow.
  • rrfan
if you actually pulled a muscle it will take much longer than a day to get back.

I know that this has kinda morphed into more of a workout thread than a P90X "only" thread so for those of you guys doing standard type lifting I have a new FANTASTIC "toy" for you. A little piece of equipment called a "Slingshot" by Mark Bell. If you're dealing trouble bench pressing due to front delt pain, you might want to check out this tool. Purchased this thing and not only does it alleviate delt pain it also keeps the bar in the proper "groove" to maximize form. Also doesn't hurt that it allows you to use more weight on your "working weight" (35 lbs more than norm for 6 reps) and helped me get more reps (10) on max rep pushups.

Is this is P90x chest and back? What context?

Yeah. I looked at CST day, I only do 117 of the wacky styles on that day.

You want my reasons to work out or to push myself to reach a goal?

If it is the later, just something to work towards on my way to improve overall health.

No the german potato soup girl

You threw me off because I thought you were referring to her but when you said "german", I thought you might have meant Dreya. I knew the potato soup girl did a porn.
  • Sonofanump
Dreya did a movie about a lesbian areial gymnast that was suggestive, but nothing shown.

Wow you guys have a lot of time on your hands.

P90X is usually near an hour a day once you learn the routine, Insanity is closer to 40 minutes.

My gym just got a tractor tire. Not sure if they have a sledge hammer but I'd definitely like to use it for flipping. Anyone have experience working out with these? If so what kind of routine did you use?

I plan on using google for all the smart asses out there but was curious if someone had some insight from personal experience ha

Generally just flipped them. Never went the sledgehammer route.

Did you use it like the prowler? Flip a certain distance, rest, repeat?

You can go for distance, number of flips, etc. Just have fun with it.
