SonofanumpMy basement workout room does not look like that. Is the chick in the doggy/lawnmower pose on prison release with that ankle monitor?

What ankle monitor? You noticed an ankle monitor?Sonofanump;1180839 wrote:My basement workout room does not look like that. Is the chick in the doggy/lawnmower pose on prison release with that ankle monitor? -
SonofanumpYeah, I start with her glutes and worked my way down the legs.

ernest_t_bassI know I'll get crucified for this, but starting this week, I've given up plyo and yoga. I'm running 2-3 miles instead, b/c honestly, that's where I would like to work myself. I'd like to have some running endurance, and be in shape that way. And plyo can suck my balls.
-
SonofanumpYour yoga is what 24 minutes long? </SPAN>
Plyo is the boss, you should get a hold of the insanity plyo instead, it is shorter in time, only 42 minutes.</SPAN>
Run for the kenpo day which does suck ball.</SPAN>
I see what you are saying about running, but don’t wear yourself down with that. I try to swim once a week, bike once a week and run once a week, but also try to get in the yoga, abs, and the three days of lifting. </SPAN> -
ernest_t_bass
I've never missed a lifting workout, nor do I plan to. I plan on continuing the lifting and running after the program. I don't need to jump in anything I do, so fuck plyo. I wish I could swim. Don't have access to a pool.Sonofanump;1181866 wrote:Your yoga is what 24 minutes long?

It not about jumping, it's about HIIT. Like starting and stopping with your legs for a short period of time like for example a basketball official would do.ernest_t_bass;1181870 wrote:I don't need to jump in anything I do, so fuck plyo. -

Pansy, my wife runs 4 days per week and does all of the P90x workouts on top of that. The only day she doesn't run that is a p90x day is Plyo days.ernest_t_bass;1181842 wrote:I know I'll get crucified for this, but starting this week, I've given up plyo and yoga. SonofanumpI wonder if this will translate. Cardio and Plyo are both insanity:
Sun Mon Tue Wed Thr Fri Sat</SPAN>
</SPAN>
Morn Abs Bike Swim Run</SPAN></SPAN>
Legs </SPAN></SPAN>
Noon Cardio C&B Arms Plyo
</SPAN></SPAN>
Night Strch Yoga </SPAN></SPAN> -

You're right. Stupid move. As suggested take out kenpo, the least effective workout in the bunch. (Unless you are obese). Also running is pointless. Do sprints instead.ernest_t_bass;1181842 wrote:I know I'll get crucified for this, but starting this week, I've given up plyo and yoga. SonofanumpI don't get it. Plyo is by far my favorite of all the P90X routines. I think it has the most benefit of all the exercises that can be done for what I do and want to do.

I fucking hate plyo. And I fucking hate running. I hate plyo more.Sonofanump;1181988 wrote:I don't get it. Plyo is by far my favorite of all the P90X routines. I think it has the most benefit of all the exercises that can be done for what I do and want to do. -

Like OneBuckeye said, run sprints....a) you're done faster, b) the fat burning process will continue long after you're finished and c) and, most important, you're not going to elevate your cortisol levels as much. If you don't want to do sprints, walk for distance versus jogging the 2-3 miles. You'll still burn fat without eating away at hard earned muscle.ernest_t_bass;1182018 wrote:I fucking hate plyo. BR1986FBSo I've had front delt (left) issues for awhile and once I get to a certain weight on the bench press it gets quite uncomfortable. I found a new toy, called a Sling Shot, which will supposedly help alleviate this. Gonna give it a try.
