Yoga made me feel so much better today. I definitely understand Tony's position regarding Yoga and tend to agree with it.

As for the Kenpo, you don't have to get anaerobic for it to do anything for you. At 27, my "weight loss" heart rate is 125 bpm, I hit close to 145 doing Kenpo due to being out of shape, but my wife who is a marathon runner stays right in her zone the whole time. This is the same girl that ran 5 miles then did all of Plyo :o. I understand there are people who always want their cardio to be anaerobic, but there are advantages at lower heart rates.

    LOL. Push-mowed 1.5 acres.

So my friend sent me an article saying that Omega-3 Fish Oil helps with weight loss. Is this true and is it worth trying?

Chest-Shoulder-Triceps in Phase 2 is both my favorite and least favorite workout of this entire program.

I feel so good after having an off day.

Although I did cheat yesterday and have a small slice of chocolate cake for my grandma's 80th bday.

Not a bad one - but i'm not not a fan of the tricep workouts in the videos. What's those pulls ups in phase 2 where you front, back, left, right? I couldn't even do one without a fucking chair...

    You're so weak...

Better than me... I'm still not away from the bands for pull-ups.

All my friends said I would have felt worse if I hadn't had anything.

I'd say for something like that it's permissible

You're dieting on a regular basis. You've just added an intense workout into your daily routine. Considering both of those are more than likely a drastic change from what you had been doing prior, I'd say you'r just fine.

Me... I drank a ton of beer on Saturday at a wedding, ate wedding food, ate a piece of carrot cake, and pigged out (trying to eat away my hangover), at the continental breakfast on Sunday morning. I'm weak...

Fuck the bands dude - IMO get a bar and use a chair instead, you'll be doing body weight pull ups sooner than using the bands.

You think doing 4-5 reps on each pull up (with a chair) will be more beneficial than using the bands?

Yeah, since you can use your legs on the chair you can just push harder with your legs when your arms get tired. If you can only get 5 i'd do the five then finish the set with the bands.

I started with about 5 pullups then finished the set using the chair for the rest of the time - you could start with chair pullups then when you can do those switch over to the bands.

Just a suggestion, but i think you'll see better back results if you can phase the bands out.

Did the chair pull-ups today. Just feel like I'm cheating. Feel like I'm using too much of my legs. When I think about not using my legs, I find myself using my legs. What's the trick to chair pull ups?

Not to use the chair until you burn out.

I then feel like I wouldn't be getting a proper (burn) workout in. I can't do more than 3-4 without the chair. I'm 31 years old, 200 lbs., and haven't lifted in years.

LOL, I see what you're saying. Start w/o, but keep the chair there. I may try that Friday.
