THey were hunting with a carcass. You cant prove they were "hunting cecil".MontyBrunswick;1744245 wrote:Poaching is illegal hunting.
The lion was coaxed out of a no-hunt area and then shot. That's poaching.
If they were sure they weren't doing anything illegal, they wouldn't have tossed the GPS tracker and just left it with the corpse. They made it disappear.
They should be prosecuted to the highest degree. Disgusting that you defend these disgraceful people -

You can't prove they were not, and the circumstantial evidence leans a lot more towards the conclusion they were.Spock;1744268 wrote:THey were hunting with a carcass. You cant prove they were "hunting cecil". -
Laley23Oh God, I can't handle another convo about circumstantial evidence.

You nor anyone else in the US can do that. The media reporting on this has no concrete evidence. I wouldnt believe anything coming from that african government either.lhslep134;1744280 wrote:Don't worry, IDGAF about this topic lol. Laley23Lol @ concrete evidence.
Sorry in advance for opening this can of worms -
MontyBrunswick

DeyDurkie5Hey guys, it's a fucking lion. Get over it lol

Go4alOngbOmBSo what you are saying is this?
Guy pays government taxes and fees to Zimbabwe to hunt a lion, he hires guides to help him accomplish his goals.
He actually achieves his goal, and kills said lion, using its parts with a local village to make sure the lion is completely used.
Country who sanctioned this hunt with its own guides now wants to extradite the hunter back to their country, who will lock him up for years in a prison that is better than most of the people in their country LIVE, because it wasn't the "right" lion.
Uhhh.....why does this make no sense to me as a hunter? I paid the license fee, I sat in the stand with the guide, the guide says FIRE, I FIRE.......and now I am the bad guy? -
MontyBrunswick
He still ultimately broke the law when he was told to fire. It doesn't make him any less guilty if someone else told him to do it.Go4alOngbOmB;1744325 wrote:So what you are saying is this?

QuakerOats^^ So you've read the license and the contract, and along with your knowledge of the laws in that country and subdivision, are certain of your position. Good job. Now, who are all the guilty criminals in the Planned Parenthood barbarism?

j_crazyI came in here to make a joke, but then I read the first handful of posts and thought "oh shit, i need to be serious in this thread." so here goes:
what do you guys think tasts better? Lion meat seasoned with human tears, or aborted fetus? -

I didn't know you could be wrong twice, and so quickly. These barbarians are indeed felons; criminal charges should be forthcoming, unless the radically liberal justice department simply ignores the crimes, which they tend do when it has to do with their own. -
MontyBrunswick
This same paragraph can be applied to the soulless dentist who POACHED the lion.QuakerOats;1744371 wrote:I didn't know you could be wrong twice, and so quickly. QuakerOatsKeep squirming; there are a dozen more videos yet to be released; the barbarians are criminals.

SpockMontyisdore you have no clue what goes on in regards to the process that goes on to hunt in africa. I have a friend that has hunted in africa 2 times and he told me that it sounds like everything was done by the rules and that he nor the guides broke any laws.
Add that to the fact that the poeple in africa think that the way the US media is blowing this up is stupid, they likely dont care. THe only people over there that care are the greasy politicians that didnt get paid for that lion -

You're no better since you created a thread to perpetuate the conversation.Spock;1744413 wrote: US media is blowing this up is stupid
I don't see why this is so complicated for you to understand...
Just because he went through the proper channels doesn't mean he's any less guilty. The precautions taken beforehand are irrelevant. The action (pulling the trigger) itself is what makes him guilty.
If you seek out financial advice and the financial planner gives you bogus information, you're still liable for any debt accrued by his lousy advice.
Maybe you should of taken some logic courses. -

LOL, making a thread here isnt akin to the national media. Besides, unlike the lefttards in the media, I find that they are being dishonest and lying about what actually happened to gain political points with the koolaid drinkers.MontyBrunswick;1744420 wrote:You're no better since you created a thread to perpetuate the conversation.

It wasn't some wild lion who preyed on children.
Pathetic piece by the NY Times. They should be embarrassed
