Your device's software is up to date.

My G3 had an update at the beginning of Nov. How do I know if that was the lollipop?

Check the Settings > About phone. If the Android Version says 5.0, you're on lollipop. My guess is it isn't Lollipop, because you would notice a very different look of the software.

I had that update as well, and it's not lollipop.

    Yeah it says 4.4.2

I received the update on my Nexus 7 last week, but still waiting for my Nexus 5.

Found out today that I'm going out to CES in January. Looking forward to seeing all the new stuff out there.

Found out today that I still don't have Lollipop.

Bummer, dude. I still don't have it on any of my X's.

Looks like quite a few Moto X Pure Edition owners are still waiting. A status update from Moto would be nice.

Heard on a call today that Soak didn't go as well as they had hoped and they are holding off pushing out the update further until some things are ironed out. I'll keep you updated if I hear anything else.

I still think it's some sort of conspiracy against me.

I'm actually crossing my fingers for root/unlocked on the Droid Turbo before lollipop rolls out. Rumors are lollipop is locked down pretty tight...combined with Moto on Verizon there's little chance of root coming after lollipop.

At this point, why do you want root access? I don't think I have needed/wanted root since before my Galaxy Nexus.

Wireless tether and a few other apps I like to use need root. Like modded gmail and exchange so my message widget can read the database. Some other tweaks, as well, like re-mapping the hardware buttons.

I hope you received your updated Justin.
Sonofa b. I still don't have it. How in the world is the VZW version getting it before the Pure Edition?

Moto must have figured out the dirt Apple has on Verizon because the Moto X line on VZW seems to get updates fairly fast. My 2013 version received KitKat before some Nexus devices received the update.

I take it you are still on the unlimited data plan?

As for Exchange support, I have noticed the new Gmail app handles ActiveSync/Exchange a lot better than the default exchange app on my Nexus 7. I have yet to try it out on my Moto X.

Yep, still have unlimited. I don't really miss root, it's more about getting extended life out of my phone flashing the latest Android version....although between the hardware and lollipop I'm not sure I'll need updates (sort of like windows vista is still perfectly "fine").

The new mail app is nice, and the widget even combines it all into one unified inbox. Now if they would just incorporate texts and missed calls it would be perfect.

I like my droid turbo but the battery isn't nearly as good as everyone said. My screen takes up like 45% of the battery life according to it, which I can't figure out.

Turn your screen brightness to automatic.

    It is automatic.
