Ken Griffey Jr, christ I wish he didn't get hurt. Would have smashed so many records. He fucking debuted as an 18 yr old. That's INSANE. Tribes/MLB hottest/highest rated prospect, Lindor, is 20 and should be in the league this yr.

That's all I could come up with for modern Athletes. IMO Otto Graham and bunch of pro athletes from the WWII era need to be mentioned. Put their careers on hold to help out the USofA. I have trouble even comprehending that in modern society. Hell Pat Tilman, a borderline NFL player, made the sacrifice and he's heralded as model citizen. Imagine Manning/LBJ/Arod doing that today.
