I fucking hate LeBron. That's pretty much all the motivation I need. If you don't think he's a punk-ass bitch, then great. We all have our favorite and least favorite athletes.

    Yet you like Kobe...again, retarded.

Lebron and Kobe have no business even being mentioned in this thread, to be honest... anywhere. Because it is 100% understandable why some people could hate them.

I was just correcting a factual error on your part.

And what does the bolded part of that post of mine you quoted mean, brah?

Cheating on his wife aside (which I really don't give a fuck about), Kobe didn't throw a national television special with Jim Gray to put on the hat of the team he was going to be moving to. And that is pretty much the end of the Who Is A Bigger Douche discussion. Kobe is every bit as confident and cocky as guys like MJ or Larry, but he doesn't constantly refer to himself in the media in the assertive way that LeBron does. For the most part, Kobe does his speaking on the court. I like that.

As ETB said, though, I can understand why both are hated. I personally just can't hate Kobe, which is why I mentioned him.

    Kobe is a bitch.

This thread started to deliver when people started arguing over who is the better person between two athletes many people (who aren't a specific fan of them or their team) look at as major douches.

The thread was about athletes you can't hate, but that others hate.

Bynum, Gasol, and Meta World Peace are HoF? You're either drunk or retarded, broseph.

As an fyi, that was sarcasm, brah. See my conversation with robj33. Context, it's important.

Unless you're a Heat fan, Kobe is much more likable than LeBron. While Kobe might be hated by many (which is why I included him in my list), he's nowhere near the asshole that LeBron is.
    Yeah, bruh.

The fact that raw couldn't see the sarcasm in that post makes me lol

This is nitpicking but there was no reason for that to be sarcastic, you realize how incredible of a supporting cast that was in 2009 and 2010?

It was definitely good, but not as good as what LeBron has had in Miami. I just feel that Kobe gets discredited too much for winning three titles with Shaq but not enough credit for the back-to-back titles he won without any fellow HOFers in 2009 and 2010. LeBron has at least one Hall-of-Famer in Wade and Jordan had two during his last three-peat. (Not saying Kobe is greater than MJ).

I think what Kobe did was pretty special during that last run.

And by the way, I am NOT a Lakers fan. I couldn't care less about Los Angeles. But I do like watching Kobe when the Lakers are in the playoffs.

He had the best front court in the league, along with the best coach. He gets plenty of credit for winning those two titles but he also went 6-24 in a game 7 in which his team won. If other stars did that they would get crucified for it, not have it overlooked. Kobe gets plenty of credit, he's one of the top 10 players ever.

Having Phil Jackson definitely was a big advantage for both Jordan and Kobe. I can't deny that. Obviously Eric Spoelstra is not on that level. It'd be interesting to see Phil coach LeBron in the future, if LeBron were to leave Miami at some point.
  • ernest_t_bass
    Phil's never coaching again.

Prolly already been said, but I figured today was a good day to say The Hammer, Hank Aaron.
